TL;DR - No, because: smelly, design/mechanism flaw, alligator skin, other options better. Recommend Instead: KY brand Delay Spray or TROJAN's version. Wipes? ROMAN. Condoms with delay goo (inside)? HIMS. Happy Copulating, folks I (almost) never leave reviews on stuff, but... In a fleeting fit of altruism, I came here to warn ye masses that the smell from this alone is a deal-breaker. It's industrial-cleaning-product-nightmares-from-public-school-bad. (full disclosure: decades-long smoker, moderately blunted olfactory senses...and it's still criminally pungent. In addition, I concur with (most) everyone else, but as a HAZMAT specialist I'm going to offer my 2-cents on the delivery method/spray issues. the delivery method is a metered PUMP SPRAY, not Aerosol as it claims here. That's key because the container design drastically impacts the purely mechanical function of pump spray delivery versus Aerosol where chemical reaction acts as propellent. This ultra-nerdy, obscure fact is most likely a big part of why everyone's saying it sucks and/or stops working (and they're right.) It does work, and pretty quickly (not sure about the "5-10 mins to dry" claim), but it sort of leaves a residue feeling for a bit, and then when it completely dries, it seems to dry you out. Like, reptile skin. I also find the "45 mins to 1 hour" effect duration to be dubious, eapecially if following directions and adhering to the advised "3 - 10 spray" maximum. I honestly have no idea why this particular product shows as "Best Seller" and "Amazon's choice" or whatever pay-to-endorse terminology was selected.

First, I would have given this the highest rating I possibly could have, but for two - really one - reasons I'll discuss below. But first, here's some context. I do not suffer from P.E. I last five to 10 minutes, which, depending on the studies you believe, is either average or a little better than average. However, my wife takes quite awhile to orgasm - even longer than most. Also, if we're having intercourse when she's getting very close to orgasm, it can quickly push me over the edge - often before she's actually had an orgasm. So I bought the product to help give me the control to give her my best through at least the first intercourse induced orgasm and hopefully more. The great news is that, unlike another similar product I tried in the past, this actually worked. And it's done so without numbing her at all and without significantly numbing me. Not sure if it's the unique delivery system or the good application instructions, or both, but this product just made me feel more in control - not numb. Simply put, it was still really enjoyable for me throughout the process, but it took the edge off enough to give me great control. I've done this with one squirt. As to whether this control has made a difference, I'm not exaggerating when I say the response I've received from my wife is as good as I could have possibly imagined. Out of all the many, many different things we've introduced to our sex lives, other than the Hitachi Magic Wand (now the Rechargeable Magic Wand) and practicing Natural Family Planning, I think this may be the best. So why not five stars? First, the sprayer does make it difficult to apply. At this price, the delivery system should be better. I agree with others who recommended spraying into a shot glass and applying with your finger. But if the issue was just this, I probably wouldn't knock it down a star. The reason I knocked it down a star (and thought about knocking it down even more) is that this seller thought it would be a good idea to indicate on the sender's address that it from a pharmaceutical company and even include the name "Promescent." WTH people??? Don't you think that the buyer of a penis desensitizing spray would like to have some discretion??? Why couldn't the sender's address on the label simply be "Amazon Fulfillment" or something innocuous like that?! Unfortunately, I had this sent to my office. At a minimum, the receptionist who signed for the package is wondering why I'm having pharmaceuticals sent to my office. Worst case scenario, she decides to Google "Promescent" and can never look at me the same. I'm not sure how you can get around this. I picked the perfect time to buy this. I noticed as I was getting older (and I’m still decently young at 31) that my ability to last in bed was decreasing. It was a concern for me and I did research to find a product like this. I picked the perfect time to buy too, they’ve doubled the amount of sprays this travel size bottle holds from 10 to 20. I know you may think 20 sprays for $25 is a bit much but let me assure you no other product works. No pills, no supplements, no creams, and no gels work like this stuff! It’s so simple yet so ingenious what they’ve done too (if you research their secret ingredient). The 3 major complaints you will read in the comments are A) It didn’t work B) It worked too well & C) It stinks. My opinion is that the people who complain it didn’t work may not have used the product correctly. My suggestion is to apply 1-2 sprays on the entire head, 1-2 to the ring around the head, and 1-2 to the most sensitive area on the underside of the shaft (it’s just below the head. The part that makes you finish wayyyyy to fast. Yes. That sensitive area). ALSO, the longer you wait for the product to soak into your skin the more effective it will be. Rub it in good! The bottle states wait 10 minutes. For me 20-25 minutes is when it kicked all the way in. I’ve waited as long as 60 minutes before having sexual contact after applying and I was fine. During sexual intercourse I noticed I lasted 3-5 times longer than usual. Why? After applying the product to the target areas and waiting 15-25 minutes the target areas will be numb. That’s it! It will not effect your erection or ability to stay up. To those saying it works too well. I suggest you do not, again absolutely do not apply the product to the entire shaft. Focus on the first half of your shaft only. From the head to mid shaft and stop! My theory is you want some feeling in you little guy at least somewhere. So why not the mid shaft to the base? Works for me. Lastly those who complain about the smell are correct. It smells like medication or ointment for sore muscles. The longer you wait before intercourse after you apply, the less potent the smell is though. Also once you wait my suggested 15-25 minutes you can wipe you member with a damp cloth or rag and reduce the smell that way. Also, wash your hands very well. Smell gets on your hands too. The smell will only be most noticeable to a woman if you have you hands all in her face, or your member in her face. Just saying. ENJOY!!!

Based on the headline I'm sure you think Promescent is the hero here. It's not. I am LOL. This is the last review on this you gotta read fellas. Been using this stuff since 2016 so yes, veteran. Wasn't necessarily dealing with PE, I was average (20-30 min) but was back to dating and had been without for a while and didn't want that drought to have me performing like a red shirt freshmen (fellas you know what I'm talking bout lol). So with that backdrop out the way I went on a search to find some assistance if you will to get me through that initial barrier. I fell in love with the stuff! For reference, I've purchased this from the maker directly on their site, from Amazon and from Target and every single one performed as the first. I've read a lot of comments claiming that the stuff from Amazon is somehow different, it's not. It's the same stuff. I've also read a bunch of reviews complaining about it being "empty". It's not empty, it's a precise amount which you're told exactly how much liquid (in ml) is there and how many sprays total are in it directly on the wrapper (10,20,40,60). I've used the trial size (bought that my first purchase out of fear it wouldn't work), and the mid sized one's that Target usually carries, as well as the largest size via Amazon and promescent's website. I've used all of them and again, they are the same. When it comes to how to use the stuff, even the maker has that part wrong, which is why I'm the hero lol. The directions tell you to spray it and wait, do your do and then clean it off. That's wrong, and stupid. Which is why so many of you are saying it's being transmitted to your girlfriend's or wives and is messing up their experience. Pro tip: Spray it, wait 10-15 minutes (at least!), wash it off, and THEN have at it like a star! It soaks into your skin so washing it off won't make it lose potency... It will however, eliminate the transfer issue as well as the smell which the reviews on that are spot on. It DEFINITELY smells like Bengay, so you'll want to wash your hands after applying as to not give away the smell. Unless your girl goes immediately to your junk she won't be able to smell it. Now, what you do within that 15 minutes and how you play it off with your significant other is totally in your hands, I am merely the messenger! My advice is if you smoke, go have a smoke. If you don't, have your girl/wife/whatever take a shower first (should be at least 15 minutes or you have another issue entirely!) and then shower up behind her. From there, I promise you, you will be rewarded... An hour is not out of the question using this stuff and if you've reached grown man status and have mastered your stroke and control you can certainly push an hour 30 easy! I wasn't paid for this (I should've been) nor was I offered any free product (hint, hint @promescent) so my review is totally unbiased though it is totally, definitely for sale. Anything anybody else says regarding this is wrong, and if this doesn't help you nothing will. You're all welcome in advance! P.S. If you happen to be a woman reading this review looking to buy this for your boyfriend/husband. Good for you! Look at you taking control of your sex life!
