For the price point, this has been a very good starter bass guitar. Tuning is good, had to adjust the neck, but it had the necessary tools. Once it was all adjusted, playability is good. It's got a solid feel to it, but if you're using it for long periods of time, I'd recommend getting a more comfortable strap for it. This is my first bass, and it's different than learning guitar, but a lot of fun. The amp is great, and it's nice that it comes with a stand for the bass. Takes a little getting used to the difference between a guitar and bass (neck being longer for example), but it just takes time and practice. Shipping was a nightmare, but that being said everything except the picks were in the package. The bass sounds great is well made smooth neck frets are filed nicely and the amp is loud and proud. Great deal that isnt offered directly through fender if you have time to wait for it took about a month and half to get here. The strings are too close to the metal fret so there is a buzzing when he plays. Also, missing the guitar picks. It was a Christmas gift for our son so I guess we are going to have to go to a music store to get it fixed.
