    • solid Fender neck
This neck is a "road worn" maple neck made in Mexico. The relic work is pretty nice. Edges are even a bit rounded. What needs a little bit of personal work is of course the nut, the frets and the holes for the vintage tuners. The fret work that I had to do on this neck was minor leveling of 3 frets and smoothen all the fret edges. The tuner holes was a little bit more challenging because they come pretty snug. Overall it's what I expected to do. I recommend this Strat neck for up to the Vintera Series but not for the high end Strat models ... show more

    • Ok replacement neck...the skunk stripe at the 2 to 4 fret had a hump...
What I did not like was the skunk strip seemed to pop out at the 2 to 4 fret... there was a hump as if it was not pressed properly....so I pressed it in manually as much as I could...still hump and the edges of the skunk stripe at the mentioned frets was not seated and I could feel it..So next I took a 600 grit sand paper and masking tape and sand it down...then 1000 grit sand paper...The nut also seems to be dodgy..might have to replace...I bought this because I wanted a maple board with 7.25 radius...for this much money it should be flawless... ... show more
