I really like my new fender guitar not only is it a beautiful guitar, but it plays great. After looking at all the extras on this guitar and how it’s built with solid wood you can’t find anything with such good build for that price. The solid mahogany looks great and plays great I’m not a professional, but I’m very happy with the way this guitar plays it sounds great and it’s definitely easy to play, it’s definitely worth the money if you compare it to other guitars with the same wood and all the extras I’m very happy with it. It’s definitely a bonus that it comes with an awesome case. I was going to buy a hard shell case but this one will work just fine. It also comes with a humidifier which is nice. Definitely change the strings. When you get it. The strings that were originally on it didn’t sound that good. I put some new nicer strings on it and it sounds even more amazing. ... show more

I love this guitar. I have 7 guitars, and this one gets played the most. This guitar is in between an acoustic and an electric guitar. The best of both worlds. If I don't have time to hook up my electric or if I don't feel like holding a giant acoustic, I play this one. The sound is not very full like a traditional acoustic but is pretty good sounding. This would be a perfect guitar for a beginner or a smaller person. Mine had a slight string buzz when I first played it. But I was able to adjust the truss rod inside the hole to help the neck bow and get it to go away. Learn how to do that before you attempt it though. ... show more

This is not a toy LOL great beginner guitar for any age and also great for travel and just fun to play. Only beef I got is that it comes with free fender lessons but never got the code for it. But this has happen with every Fender Guitar I have bought never get the free lesson codes makes you think someone is taking them and selling on ebay or using them there self. We bought the sunburst four our 6 almost 7 year old son. This is the perfect size for him to hold on his lap and play. His brother is a month shy of 5 and it is a little large for him to hold. Both boys are in the 90th percentile for size. The sound is good, but if you are used to using an acoustic fullsize guitar, it does sound slightly different. As with any guitar it required tuning the first couple uses. It came with a bag for storage, but we opted to buy a stand for it so our son could use it daily easily. ... show more

Great sound, out of the box. This much is true. Nice built-in EQ and controls, and a built-in LED-lit tuner -- also true. Definitely feature-rich, but a skimpy on the selection for bone on the bridge and the end of the neck. Plus, the frets jut uncomfortably high -- not so as to affect the action insomuch as they restrict smooth traversal of the board. And I can already tell there'll be a need to adjust the truss rod sooner than later, too, if by only instinct. But if you're willing to maintain it, and put some of the finishing touches on it, and can do all that on your own, the sound is marvelous and the price is where it should be. This guitar feels like a full-size, but smaller, it has good, build quality, and stays in tune, definitely would recommend for a campfire guitar, or for the little people that are learning

I was looking for a small guitar that I could bring to work to play during downtime and this totally fits the bill. It’s a nice little guitar that has a surprisingly loud sound for its size. I like Fender full-sized acoustics and this mini model is great and exactly what I was looking for.
