    • Soldered RAM cannot be upgraded.
It's an OK computer, but was disappointed to find out that the RAM cannot be upgraded. 8GB is OK, but can cause the system to lag, on occasion. It was frustrating that the specific model number (A515-58PT-59VW) wasn't included anywhere on the listing. Because of that, there was no way to know the RAM was soldered and unable to be upgraded. Other Acer Aspire 5 laptops have upgradeable RAM. The SSD can be upgraded. It's normal. If you want more storage, it's as simple as swapping the SSD. ... show more
