  • If you want that Gilmore Delay…
Pattern Name: Pedal
This pedal is amazing. First off the price. This Fender series is a fantastic value. I’m addition to being an extremely aesthetically pleasing vibe, the sounds this thing can make are vastly varied. I love pedals that give you internal controls and the Modulation switch basically gives you a free chorus pedal, simply set the time near minimum and just a hair of feedback. The patter switch gives you three of the most famous Space Echo rhythms such as the type used on songs like Another Brick Part 2, Where the Streets Have No Name, etc as well as capability to self oscillate if you venture into more extreme settings. Slapback, and even tape style reverb are possible. Overall a fantastic value If you are wondering about the difference between the two delay pedals, while both are digital, the other option gives you the clear, articulated repeats of modern digital delay while the Space Delay gives you a tape style that comes with the darker tone of the repeats and the warbling and other idiosyncrasies that we all love. So why four stars? There seems to be a bug that causes the effect not to disengage after switching the pattern switch multiple times while the effect is engaged. It is only a problem while dialing in tones, however if you were inclined to crank the knobs to get some sweet oscillating feedback at the end of a song or something like that it may throw you off when you find that the pedal won’t turn off. The solution is to set the pattern to standard then click twice and it will turn off. It’s a new product and I have contacted Fender but I won’t be returning this or anything like that but they can probably correct the issue in the future. TL;DR: Buy it. ... show more

  • Beautiful Repeats
Pattern Name: Pedal
Beautiful natural repeats and the option for patterns and modulation. Great pedal in general. I can’t believe how low the price is. As discussed in other reviews there’s a small bug where if you crank the feedback and go nuts with the knobs to get those space DJ sounds then it will not disengage. The workaround is to just down feedback and you can disengage. I doubt this would ever cause realistic problems. Otherwise a solid 5. A keeper on my board! ... show more

  • A Unique and Enjoyable Delay Pedal
Pattern Name: Pedal
I did not buy this from Amazon, but I like it so much, I was compelled to write a review here. As of the date of this review (11/9/22), I see that this pedal is rated at 3.5 stars based off of two reviews, which is surprising. This pedal emulates a multi-head tape delay, which means that it will provide a very different experience to your typical tape delay or analog delay. In particular, this pedal is capable of doing multiple repeats with (or without) a modulation that causes a warble. It has 3 modes, two of which are a multi-head delay emulation and one that is a straight-forward single tapehead (i.e., it does a single set of repeats). To be certain, you have to want something different in a delay pedal to enjoy this. I have lots of delay pedals, but none of them do what this does. In some settings, it almost does a reverberation along with some more noticeable delay repeats. With the feedback knob up, it will start to oscillate on its own, which is also cool. It doesn't really color your tone, unless you have the modulation switch up. Overall, I really like this and for $99, it's hard to beat. I've not tried any of the other fender hammertone series pedals, but they seem like they're an outstanding deal. ... show more
