Description

Always hold your guitar in place using this set of Fender Strap Locks, featuring chrome strap buttons, locks, wood mounting screws, and black or white felt washer pads. Strap locks have been used on various models of Fender instruments for decades. The guitar strap lock allows you to secure your instrument for performance or practice. The interchangeable design on the Fender strap lock lets you put these security straps on nearly any guitar. It is easy to install the chrome buttons. Simply remove the buttons already on the guitar and replace them with the strap lock buttons. Place the screw with the washer through the button and felt pad. Wax the end of the screw and place it in the guitar. Use a manual screwdriver to carefully insert the strap lock until snug. Do the same thing on the other end. Use the spring-loaded piece to put the strap on or remove it. Besides chrome, this Fender strap lock also comes in black and gold finishes. Its dimensions are 1.1x2.85x5 inches and it weighs 0.125lbs

These strap locks are awesome! From the appearance, ease of installation, strong grip, and barely noticeable, these strap locks are the one to get. Fender, you did it again.

  • God strap locks for half the price
Color: Chrome Pattern Name: Fender Straplock
These are solid Fender strap locks and were half the price of Dunlap strap locks. I have installed them on several basses and they have been great.

  • Good product, but use Thread-Locker prior to installation
Color: Chrome Pattern Name: Fender Straplock
I am a professional guitarist, and have been gigging for 35 years. I started out with Schaller strap locks on my main gigging guitars, but as my guitar collection grew, I ended up with some ProLine and eventually some Fender Strap Locks. Most recently, I had one of knobs (that you pull to release these locks from the guitar) pop off for no apparent reason. I had not banged it on anything and was shocked when it came off for seemingly no reason. I figured it was a defective unit and ordered another. Ten months later, the same thing happened to the replacement set. In removing the strap lock from the guitar (with tools), I noticed that the knob had NOT broken off, as I had originally thought. Rather, it simply became unscrewed from the spring loaded plunger bolt. I reassembled it, this time with Loctite (thread-locker). I also unscrewed the other lock knob and did the same. I don't think I will encounter that problem ever again. I will continue to use these strap locks, and when I put a new set on a new guitar, I'll remove the knobs and reinstall them with Loctite prior to installing them on my guitar/strap. Problem solved. These types of strap locks will eventually wear out (metal on metal), but it takes years of heavy use to do that, and for $10 a set, I'm quite satisfied with them. Oh, and I also tighten them onto the strap with hand tools because if you try to tighten them by hand, without tools, they won't stay put. ... show more

  • Excellent low cost alternative...
Color: Chrome Pattern Name: Fender Straplock
Less expensive than Schaller brand. Maybe not as easy to pull on the button since the post isn't angled but that minor inconvenience is worth the cost savings (locks and buttons for 3 straps and 7 guitars). Be aware that the button screws are the narrower Fender size so you'll have to add material to get a good fit in Epiphone and other guitars that use larger screws. ... show more
