Clips on with authority, then the weight of the guitar is away from the latch parts. I don't see how these could fail, solid and a good design. I like them because the regular straps have the leather buttonhole connection that I find to be a Huge PIA! It never seems all the way good, and the leather gets messed up looking. This strap has worked well for me, and feels solid. I do wish it was smaller - you can have the guitar at your knees, but not at your chest. I use it for a bass. It is difficult to get on, but once it's on it feels very solid, and I am not afraid that the strap will pull off.

It's a cheap guitar strap. Even feels a little cheap, but it does what it's supposed to. Where it connects to the guitar is solid enough that I'm not concerned about it loosening too much over time. I have a few of these for my electric guitars and basses. The straps dont really have a "locking" feature. They hold on by the tension of the leather. They work fine as long as you're not taking it off and putting it on all the time. The leather will stretch and easily fall out if you do that. The strap is made of strong material and it looks nice too. It's fairly comfortable to wear even for long hours. It's long enough to wear with even the longest acoustic basses, and pulls in close enough for an electric guitar. I'd recommend this strap and would definitely buy it again. ... show more

Have a Fender acoustic guitar and almost broke it in half trying to put this strap on the end cap, installation was very difficult. Length and overall quality is very good though.

Works great for Epiphone SG As you know SG has strap attached on back as opposed to side so many straps get in the way believe I tried but this baby is cheap and hot works just fine
