Unlike some of the Chinese straps that have metal parts that may scratch your guitar, the Ernie Ball has nothing but leather and fabric touching the sides. This Royal Orleans Jacquard strap’s color combination is a perfect complement for my Ebony Les Paul Custom with gold hardware and mother of pearl inlays on the fretboard. Wish it came with necessary strap blocks but I already had some extra black Fender blocks, so this comfortable strap is secure. . ... show more

Tho this brand is on the pricey side, you get something that last a long time. The quality of there straps, pedals and cables have always been on my good side. It’s worth spending a bit more then to get something cheap and have it not last as long.

I like these because they are long and I'm tall and prefer the low-slung rock-star stance. But if you've got an axe that neck-dives - and there are so many of these - the sliding demands an aftermarket solution or perhaps a different strap altogether.
