So far so good. It seems to be a good guitar for beginners. Not to expensive so I can learn and if I decide later on I want to continue playing I can move forward with buying something better but until then this will be what I play and learn on.

I like the guitar, it's good, not great. I would say it's good for the cost. You can definitely get a better guitar for a few hundred dollars more, but if you're looking for a sub $200 acoustic electric with built-in tuner, you can't beat this. I didn't have any issues with it out of the box, it was even set up almost perfectly. I don't know if I just got really lucky with QA, or if most of them will be really good out of the box, for the price I'd say it's worth the shot. The only odd thing is the model number, it says, FA-Series model FA-25CE. Fender makes a 125CE model, this is very similar except for the headstock is slimmer. I can't find any info about a 25CE, only the 125. All in all I like it, it sounds decent, the tuner is nice, plugged in it sounds okay, I definitely recommend a nicer guitar for more money, but again you can't beat this value. I would say it's worth it for a beginner or a child who's interested, but you will most definitely be upgrading if you get serious about playing guitar. I only give it 4 out of 5 stars because it's not "perfect". Physically it's decent, it doesn't feel great, but it's not bad by any means. It definitely sounds like a sub $200 acoustic, but that's not really a bad thing for a beginner or someone what wants a beater acoustic. ... show more

Excellent guitar to start with, it amplifies very well, the sound is balanced, it is not so loud. It feels sturdy and of high quality, with a matte finish and a thick fingerboard. It comes with 2 cables to connect it. The steel strings are rough, and if you come from a nylon guitar they can make you feel pain in your fingertips the first few days ... show more

I had no idea that for $130 I could buy an acoustic electric that would have this pleasurable of a sound. One of the Best Buy’s Ive probably ever made, no joke. I come from a very basic guitar-playing background. The product is wonderful in terms of appearance. It looks very premium. The sound is decent except for some buzzing sounds, probably due to strings hitting a fretboard (Maybe I am a little naive to make this comment, though.) You can see the flaws through the dark varnish was not sanded well before varnished and a speck or 2 here there where they missed or went light with it. The guitar plays great the built in pick-up is good to I can say that for a beginner guitar with a pick up built in this is a good one to get nice c shaped neck and it is thin easer to make chords or note then other cheaper guitars and I have a few of those. it doesn't come with any extras so you have to get case strap tuner etc. but that's ok I would buy this Fender again. over all better built then other cheap guitars. So go ahead and pop for this one if your on a tight budget and wish to learn guitar. oh strings are ok but as with all new cheaper guitars plan on getting better ones later. But I have to admit this guitar plays and sounds great really do love it I might even get another in the future. For bottom end guitar this one so much better then other off brand guitars. - Little up date I play this guitar daily sound is great frets good etc. Love it and was a good buy ... show more
