This Fender FA-15 3/4-scale guitar has been an excellent pick for my 10-year-old daughter. The smaller size makes it much easier for her to hold and play, and the sound quality is surprisingly full for a youth guitar. What I liked • Ideal size for kids: The 3/4 scale fits her hands and arms perfectly — no struggling to reach frets or wrap around the body. • Great sound: Clear, bright tone that doesn’t feel “toy-like” at all. It sounds like a real guitar, just smaller. • Comfortable to play: The neck is smooth, and the strings aren’t overly tough for young beginners. • Lightweight: Easy for a child to carry to lessons, school programs, or around the house. • Fender quality shows: Well-built, good finish, and holds tuning better than expected for a kids’ instrument. Very nice guitar, just what I needed. I was a little warry because of some of the reviews on here, but this is just what I expected. Great sound, and the size is super confortable. The surface is super smooth. The guitar strap works just fine, on the top it has the string to knot arround the neck.

This guitar is even more stunning in person and has a great sound. This is a perfect beginner guitar or for a smaller person. The case that came with it and tuner were both a nice touch. Over all, I looked at other retailers that carry guitars and couldn’t beat the price considering it also came with a case and tuner. I would say overall this is a good value for what all that comes with it and was very pleased. I will say I was not a fan of how it was packaged and am just thankful it came with out being busted through shipping. ... show more

I ordered this guitar set for my granddaughter for Christmas, and she LOVES IT!!! She is 12 and it is absolutely perfect for her! I did just find out last weekend when she came for a visit that the gig bag was missing from her box. I reached out to the seller (Austin Bazaar, I believe), not expecting anything since the return window had closed, but he responded to my message right almost immediately! He said he would send the gig bag right out to me - I received it today!! Not even a week later!! The communication with this seller was absolutely amazing!!! I wouldn't hesitate to buy something from this place in the future! The customer service was outstanding!! This is the perfect size for a child. Lightweight. The guitar itself is absolutely beautiful. There are no flaws in the wood or color, which is beautiful. The quality of the sound is what really impressed me. I was worried about that but am very pleasantly surprised. Once tuned all we could say way WOW, WOW, WOW. I absolutely LOVE this guitar! I have tried to learn to play in the past and had a full size Fender for over 20 years, I just could never get the hang of it. I really wanted to learn. Nothing crazy, I don't want to be in a band, I just want to be able to pick it up and sound like I kind of know what I am doing. One of the biggest problems I had was that I could not get my hand wrapped around the neck. And recently I had carpal tunnel in both hands, so my muscle strength and dexterity is even worse. THAT is why I went with this guitar. The 3/4 is the perfect size for me. I have become half-way decent, still not getting into any bands any time soon!! I can at least play around a campfire. I have played 4-5 times a week for 5 months. I have built great calluses on my fingers. If anyone understands the need for calming the mind when things get stressful, then this is a perfect outlet to use. Music, even when it's not good because you're the one playing it and you not very good and you don't sound great, is some of the best therapy there is! It has become my emotional support animal. Now for the actual quality.... I have had a few people that actually know how to play and who actually know quality instruments and they have all told me how impressed they are with my guitar. It tunes really well and keeps its tune. It has great sound and tone. It's a Fender, so the quality goes without saying. I truly am impressed with this guitar. 5+ stars IF I had to try and find something wrong, it would be that it didn't automatically make me an amazing guitarist.
