    • Perfect size and sound for my 10-year-old — great starter guitar
Review Image by Jennifer M. Robinon Jennifer M. Robinon
This Fender FA-15 3/4-scale guitar has been an excellent pick for my 10-year-old daughter. The smaller size makes it much easier for her to hold and play, and the sound quality is surprisingly full for a youth guitar. What I liked • Ideal size for kids: The 3/4 scale fits her hands and arms perfectly — no struggling to reach frets or wrap around the body. • Great sound: Clear, bright tone that doesn’t feel “toy-like” at all. It sounds like a real guitar, just smaller. • Comfortable to play: The neck is smooth, and the strings aren’t overly tough for young beginners. • Lightweight: Easy for a child to carry to lessons, school programs, or around the house. • Fender quality shows: Well-built, good finish, and holds tuning better than expected for a kids’ instrument. What to know • Steel strings can feel a little tough at first for brand-new players, but they soften with use and help build finger strength. • Doesn’t come with many extras, so you may want to add a tuner, picks, or a small gig bag. Overall This is a fantastic beginner guitar for kids. It’s the right size, easy to play, and sounds great — perfect for a young player starting lessons or exploring music at home. My daughter loves it, and it’s a big step up from cheaper starter options. ... show more

    • Great guitar, no complaint
Style: Steel String Color: Natural
Very nice guitar, just what I needed. I was a little warry because of some of the reviews on here, but this is just what I expected. Great sound, and the size is super confortable. The surface is super smooth. The guitar strap works just fine, on the top it has the string to knot arround the neck.

    • Beautiful Sound
Style: Steel String Color: Moonlight Burst
This guitar is even more stunning in person and has a great sound. This is a perfect beginner guitar or for a smaller person. The case that came with it and tuner were both a nice touch. Over all, I looked at other retailers that carry guitars and couldn’t beat the price considering it also came with a case and tuner. I would say overall this is a good value for what all that comes with it and was very pleased. I will say I was not a fan of how it was packaged and am just thankful it came with out being busted through shipping. ... show more

    • Buy the guitar alone and build your own kit
Style: Steel String Color: Moonlight Burst
Review Image by Houndx Houndx
Beautiful guitar with vibrant sound, but skip the kit and just buy the guitar, then build your own kit. 1. The case is just a dust cover and provides no impact protection so I've ordered a better case. 2. I was missing the beginners guide and picks, so I had to buy picks. 3. No upper strap button... So I had to buy that and install it. 4. Strap is fine but as basic as it gets, so I'll probably upgrade that at some point as well. ... show more

    • Highly recommend this guitar
This is the perfect size for a child. Lightweight. The guitar itself is absolutely beautiful. There are no flaws in the wood or color, which is beautiful. The quality of the sound is what really impressed me. I was worried about that but am very pleasantly surprised. Once tuned all we could say way WOW, WOW, WOW. We highly recommend this guitar (professional musician) ... show more

    • Most amazing customer service ever!! And, an absolutely perfect guitar!!
I ordered this guitar set for my granddaughter for Christmas, and she LOVES IT!!! She is 12 and it is absolutely perfect for her! I did just find out last weekend when she came for a visit that the gig bag was missing from her box. I reached out to the seller (Austin Bazaar, I believe), not expecting anything since the return window had closed, but he responded to my message right almost immediately! He said he would send the gig bag right out to me - I received it today!! Not even a week later!! The communication with this seller was absolutely amazing!!! I wouldn't hesitate to buy something from this place in the future! The customer service was outstanding!! The guitar is also in perfect shape - it's absolutely beautiful and exactly what my granddaughter was wanting! Thank you so much!!! ... show more
