  • Pro tip on how to open the case
Style: Jazzmaster/Jaguar Color: Black
Nice guitar case. Great protection. Feels like I will have it forever. When it first arrives it will seem locked to a person who has never opened a fender case. Put your thumbs on both of the circular metal pieces, where the key goes in, and push the left to the left and the right to the right.

  • Made in China and no room for headstock to breath
Style: Stratocaster/Telecaster Color: Black
I was excited to get this case, but the headstock is literally touching the end of the case - no breathing room on it at all. There should be at least an inch or 2, but this was crushed into the foam. And, it's made in China. That's a lot of coin for a logo (in my very humble opinion). From the labeling on it, it looks like it's a G&G case. Apparently, they 'ripped off' the metal stamp that G&G puts on their case and just branded it as Fender. Needless to say, I returned it. ... show more

  • Almost great
Style: Stratocaster/Telecaster Color: Black
It seems to be a crapshoot as to what condition the case you order will be received in. Unfortunately, there were some nicks on mine that pulled up a few small pieces of the black outer material. I purchased this for my new American Professional II strat because I dislike the larger molded case it came in that much. As you can see from the pictures, the fit is tight. At first I didn’t even think the case was the correct size as it seemed there was no way my strat would fit. But truth is I believe the case was designed this way intentionally. All of the foam that touches the sides of the guitar is only what I can describe as a firm memory foam that conforms to the body. I believe it’s as tight as it is the hold the guitar firmly in place. My BIGGEST issue with the design, however, is that the top of the headstock is pressed in so much that it forces one of the tuning pegs to the side. So be prepared to retune your guitar every time you remove it from this case. Craftsmanship wasn’t the best on the case I received. It’s clearly a Fender branded G&G case, as in identical. G&G is likely the company who manufactures this case for Fender. Also, what none of the stock photos show is that on the non Fender logo side (bottom of case when laid flat) there’s a screw in the middle that holds the internal storage compartment in place. Mine was screwed in at an angle which is annoying. Overall, I do like the case even with the cons. It suits my style more as I prefer it over the more bulky and expensive molded case that came with the strat, which feels cheap to me (just the exterior). This case is slimmer and overall feels more solid, but I’d never ever trust that it’d hold up for air travel. You’d need a much more rugged case for that. ... show more

  • Fender Classic Tweed bass case
Style: P/J Bass Color: Tweed
This case is a very high quality product. I’m glad I ordered it. It fits my Fender Jazz bass perfectly. There’s a covered compartment for the strap, cord, tuner, etc. it’s a good deal. The only change I’d make if I had a choice would be to replace the two spring loaded side slide latches, with the manual type that’s already mounted in the middle by the handle. The balance is good, & the fit and finish is flawless. Don’t waste your money trying to save on a lesser case. Get this one, you won’t be disappointed. ... show more

  • Returned Twice, then charged a restocking fee for a broken product
Style: Jazzmaster/Jaguar Color: Black
The materials and feel of the case is good, but the hardware and assembly are disappointing, and after returning the case for a second time, I decided to buy a different case instead of taking a chance on yet another replacement, I was then charged a restocking fee. The first case did not close correctly, leaving a large gap between the top and bottom, and would rattle around. The second case was still not a solid close, and also had a poorly repaired dent in the vinyl, but I decided to keep it instead of waiting for yet another case. Then later in the month after only a few uses, the handle hardware snapped as i was walking with it, fortunately my guitar was not damaged from the drop. I was disappointed to see ~$40 charge for my wasted time returning poor quality cases. ... show more

  • This is not the quality of Fender cases from the past.
Style: Stratocaster/Telecaster Color: Black
It's lighter weight, the edges and more "squared off", the stitching around the "leather-ish" stuff on the ends looks sloppy and poorly attached, the top and back seem slightly concave, the latches are cheap, a Tele Deluxe or a Strat with the larger-70s size headstock doesn't really fit until you "persuade" the foam to smash-in to conform, and yes it's made in China. That said, I bought two and I'm keeping them because I need them for a pair of Teles that need better than a gigbag. Fender needs to know these are an embarrassment to call "Genuine Fender". Lastly, these are NOT G&G cases BUT based on a G&G P/J case I just bought, even G&G case quality has noticeably declined recently. ... show more

  • Pretty decent case, but kind of an odd fit
Style: Jazzmaster/Jaguar Color: Black
I have read several reviews here of the Stratocaster case that said that the headstock of the guitar will need to be pushed into the padding in order to close the lid, and that is exactly the situation with the Jazzmaster case. My conclusion is that it was a design decision and not an accident. When placing the guitar in the case, you will need to put the headstock end in first and then slide the body end into position, pushing the headstock into the plush. I assume that before long the plush will conform to the shape of the headstock. ... show more

  • In "Case" you are looking.
Style: Stratocaster/Telecaster Color: Black
Traditionally I purchase SKB cases for my guitars when needed but I was looking for a more traditional style case for my "black strat" build. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this case. Solid outer wood, excellent lining, latches all matched up well and my guitar was snug inside the case. Took about a day for the foam to adjust around the instrument and then it was perfect. If you are looking for a solid vintage style case you cannot go wrong with this Fender model. ... show more
