The media could not be loaded. For those who find themselves surprised that the case comes "locked with no key" - make sure you know how to open it before you send it back. The key is on the inside. You open the case by sliding the locks horizontally to pop the side latches. I think I got a deal on someone's return who got stumped by this because the used one I got is in perfect condition. My telecaster fits snuggly and the case looks beautiful ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you get it and one side is locked you need to pull open the other side and lift the leather pull tab in the guitar and the keys are In there. Again if it came locked on the right side of the case open the left side find the leather pull tab and the keys will be under it ... show more

Had this case for less than two months. Opened and closed it less than twelve times, and the middle latch broke out of the case. Unbelievably shoddy craftsmanship from Fender. My original 1967 case has half broken latches and still works better than this one now. What's worse is that the nicer Fender Mustang case (G&G) DOESN'T come with an internal pocket! Does Fender just expect you to let all of your accessories fly around inside the case and mar up your guitar? I bought the cheaper one almost exclusively for the internal pocket, and because it actually fits my Mustang snugly, but I suppose that was a mistake. If you have a vintage Mustang and you want to actually protect it (and carry accessories), do NOT buy a Fender case. Looks like you're up a creek and have to shell out serious dough for a custom case that won't break within the first dozen uses. ... show more
