  • Great product
Style: Saddles
Just be careful to measure your guitar before buying, in my case, it did not work because my saddles are bigger than these ones, but I purchased it because of the small screws that go into the saddle, but I wish each product description has more and accurate measures

  • Fender Quality
Style: Saddles
For some reason, the old tried and true Fender 'bent' style saddles seem to be the most stable and easiest to work with and adjust. I have used these in numerous builds and will continue using them.

  • Not exactly like vintage, but helped solve a problem
Style: Saddles
The top saddle in the photo is the new one, the bottom saddle is a typical older Fender unit. The new saddles are a bit thinner and shorter than the ones I had, but they solved a problem. My bridge was formerly floating, but I changed to a decked setup to help with tuning and intonation. The old saddles would be so close to the bridge pivot screws that I couldn't intonate the high E. These saddles have a tighter bend at the height adjustment end, so I gained back the space I needed. Being shorter they also cleared better vertically. This was easier than shimming the neck pocket. ... show more

  • Very good saddles *****
Style: Saddles
I bought this to replace and preserve the original saddles of my YJM stratocaster, and I must say it felt and sounded different from the original saddles on my strat, this set for some weird reason makes a long ringing sound when bumped into each other, like a triangle bell sound but not as loud. I tried it on the original saddles of my strat but it just made a short klink sound. So now im thinking this set must be made from a different material than that that came with the yjm strat but i could be wrong, maybe its just because its a new set. I also noticed that all saddles look the same, as if a mold was made from one saddle to make replicas. So im not sure if this is the same saddles that they put on those models of strats with vintage strat trems in terms of materials and factory made, but it looks the same only shiny. But still, works fine, does the job really well, Im really satisfied. Oh! the only thing that i dont like is that this doesnt ship outside US, or at least where im staying, I had to ask someone from texas to receive it and then send it to me. Other than that its all good. ... show more

  • Just like preCBS
Style: Saddles
I recently bought this set for a partscaster and after reading some reviews about how they are not as thick as preCBS saddles I use a digital caliper to compare them against the saddles on a 60s Strat of which I am the original owner and they are both 3/64ths" thick steel. I think some people are judging them by comparing them against reproductions of various eras. So I would say they are virtually identical to actual vintage saddles. ... show more

  • Missing screws and easily stripped
Style: Saddles
When the package arrived, it was missing 2 of the six intonation screws. Then before I could even get one of the strings intonated, another screw completely stripped. It had virtually no tension on the string because I made sure to de-tune it all the way before tightening. the Philips head on the screws were all trying to strip as well. very very soft metal. Makes me wonder about the quality of the saddles. Definitely will be buying different ones. ... show more

  • These saddles are outstanding but too expensive
Style: Saddles
Worked perfectly but wow, so expensive. Really ridiculous that these parts are being priced so outlandishly expensive.

  • Luthier approved!
Style: Saddles
Machining and production methods as well as materials change over time. However, these parts work just fine. If you want replacements that exactly match your original saddles, you'll have to hunt down a set made in that same year, which usually means buying used, which means worn in and grooved saddles. I've been using these in my shop for a long time and never had a problem. Measurements are as advertised. ... show more
