You need to know what this product will work well for. If you buy it as a replacement for pressure washing, you'll be sorely disappointed. It worked well on the greenish mold on my stone patio areas, and vinyl fence. It helped that I took a broom and scrubbed a bit. It had no effect on the blackish mold on the same areas. First of all... yes it is easy to use and if you follow the directions it does appear that my plants are still thriving well. ( Be sure you spray them before and after application ) As for the product I had some pretty heavy green staining on the top rails of my painted/stained fence. I applied and waited the 10 minutes to give it maximum exposure. Then rinsed. I was hoping to see a better result. I re-applied and still decided I needed to do some scrubbing myself to get full benefit. ( This is what I was hoping to avoid ) If you used it regularly and did not allow the algae growth to be to thick perhaps it works better. Maybe now that I have brushed the fence and if I use it regularly at the first sign of the algae/green staining It will work better? Time will tell. ... show more

Historically I broke out the power washer for a couple of hours, twice a year to clean my vinyl white fence. This product is easily applied with a hose and quickly removed any organic growth on the fence. Highly recommended.
