I have three huskies that are masterminds at escape. I installed this summer of 2024 with t posts. They can't get out! I've seen them try to climb out, it's flexible enough they can't climb, strong enough to not chew through it, and thus far, a year and a half later no signs of rust!

I had 200' feet of Oklahoma Brand 12.5 ga welded wire and needed another 100' to finish my fence. We pulled OK brand wire with a 70 HP tractor and never had a single weld pop or issue. Southern States was out and couldn't get more so I ordered this for about $30 more. It shipped fast. I measured the thickness and it is in fact 12.5 ga. I opened the roll, nailed it to the post and started pulling and instantly had 2 weld pops. I almost stopped right there and returned the entire roll. I pulled the nails, moved down 5' or so, re-nailed, and pulled again using rachets instead of a truck or tractor. This time it pulled much better and didn't pop. I was able to complete my fence by pulling smaller sections at a time with rachets and overall it looks pretty good. I did have one weld break in the middle of the roll that I'll just have to live with. Overall, I would buy OK Brand over this brand any day of the week. You can tell that it's stronger just in bending the wire back and forth. However, this wire is available, looks good if properly installed and should be strong enough for my purpose. If you don't have access to something strong to pull with, this might be the better option for you since it can be pulled tight with a couple rachet straps, 2 2x4"s and some bolts/eyebolts.

This is a high quality picture contrastive heavier gauge wire that perfectly reenforced our wrought iron fence. Preventing big our dogs from sneaks no between the bars. Strong enough to keep them from bending it down. Which was why we had to replace the original wire.

This cannot be 12.5 gauge, and it weighs more than 14#! I would say that it is more like 14 gauge wire, and a roll weighs near 100#. Not sturdy enough for horse fencing - my horses have pushed on it making it warp out, and the wires have loose connection via their small weld. It has already rusted in spots, but I do live near the ocean so things tend to rust quicker here. This might work for smaller livestock, like goats or sheep.

I wanted heavy gauge galvanized fence. This has welded joints. I would prefer wrapped joints. I bury this in the ground to be a barrier to discourage woodchucks from tunneling under garage. The 2 foot width is ideal for my application.
