The METASPEED EDGE TOKYO shoe is our pinnacle racing product, designed for cadence-style runners who are looking to start fast and finish faster. Runners wearing these shoes will be able to increase their speed by increasing number of strides and conserve energy with each step. The newly designed FF LEAP foam technology is super lightweight and bouncy. It's strategically positioned in the midsole's top layer to help provide more cushioning and a higher energy return. The bottom layer of the midsole implements FF TURBO PLUS cushioning. This configuration enhances the foam's responsive properties while creating better stability so your heel doesn't sink at mid-stance. Thanks to a carbon plate, runners wearing these shoes will be able to conserve more energy while maintaining their pace at the later stages of the race.​ This property will also help you to kick-through the 30km wall.

I have been running in the ASICS METASPEED Sky Paris for a while now and I do really like it, but there was always one downside for me. The toe box was a little too deep, causing my feet to move around a bit inside of them, even with proper lock down. Insert the ASICS METASPEED Edge Tokyo. The toe box is much shallower, while the rest of the fit is pretty well maintained throughout. The Edge is designed more for cadence runners as opposed to stride runners. I tend to fall somewhere in between, so both are pretty capable shoes for me. If you get faster by taking more steps, go with the Edge. If you get faster by increasing your stride length, look at the Sky. This is due to the shape of the carbon plate. Be advised that if this is your first time using a carbon plated shoe, the Edge Tokyo will try to drive you forward a little bit, increasing your pace. ... show more

Good shoes they look good but unfortunately, I ordered size 11 thinking it was for men and I got size 11 for women 9.5 men, now I can’t return them because I am out of the country you should definitely update your descriptions on the shoes on the size
