    • I had my doubts about his product...

When we first brought the kitties home from the shelter, they tumbled around and Shadow (the clear alpha of the two) seemed annoyed right off the back that Salty (the younger less neurotic "sister") had come along for the ride to their new forever home. Of course, I am anthropomorphizing her "annoyance", but am I? The shelter had told us they were "sisters" but as they have gotten older I am increasingly doubtful of that claim. They are both Tuxies and were in a room with about 20 other "Tuxie" kitties that had all come in at the same time we were told. We were a bit overwhelmed and eventually just scooped up 2 of them who were girls according to their chips. 7 years later, and Shadow is still, if not more annoyed with Salty's existence and acts like a total c*nt towards her; bullying her out of her food, playtime, attention, etc. After looking around for something to chill her the f* out a little bit, I would always see this product being advertised. I just ignored it thinking it was another one of those essential oil diffusers that are technically essential poison to most cats. I was worried about giving her anything that would make her groggy and out of sorts since they are indoor-outdoor kitties. But then I had to take Shadow to the vet for something so I put her in her carrier. She hemmed and hawed as usual, but as soon as we got into the exam room she seemed to calm down and relaxed in her carrier. I was in shock. Then I noticed one of these diffusers on the wall and asked the technician about them and they said they always use them and explained how they are just pheromones. So I decided to give it a try at home in the hope of minimizing the assaults on Salty :). The directions say that it takes 7 days to start working, but the way she reacted to it in the vet's office leads me to think differently. It has been a couple of days, and she does seem more chill. I will report back if after the 7th day, her behavior takes a turn for the worse lol.     • Yes, it does calm my cats, however, the diffuser stopped working after 40 days.

My new cat had a lot anxiety when we first brought her home. I bough one diffuser for the upstairs at first and after 1 week We did notice a difference in her behavior. I bought a second one for our downstairs area. The first ones refill lasted less than 30 days. I added another refill and 5 days later the diffuser stopped working. Couln't get a refund due to thier policy. I understood they were not expected to last past 6 month before you would have to replace, however, 1 use was a lot less than i expected. It's not cheap. Crossing my fingers the newest one holds better. The product does work. Just a shame quality control seems to be lacking. ... show more

These two cats in the picture are always fighting. The smaller one is female fixed and she hides in my daughters room all the time. The bigger one is my Maine coon mix male fixed. He is always attacking the smaller one and biting her neck to pin her down. After one crazy fight I broke down and bought two of this device. Not long after plugging these in by the areas that the fighting happens or the area that the big one sits all the time the little one came downstairs. She went to the window and sat with him. Then even got closer to stretch. He would never let her do that before. They sat together for about an hour. We had no fights for at least two weeks. These are supposed be 60 day containers. They o my lasted three weeks max. Unsure if this was just a fluke I held off buying more because they are expensive. Three days ago we had a bad scuffle. Hair was pulled out even. I just put refills in today. We will see how it lasts and works. Just hope it really works. As for smell I don’t smell anything. However, my throat gets itchy just like when I use wax tarts in a melter. Or burning candles. The price would not be so bad if they lasted 60 days like described. But at two to three weeks it’s really expensive. The pet stores charge almost double to here. ... show more
