Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had other pocket gimbal cameras before. But Feiyu Pocket 3 caught my eye with the wireless/remote control design. I had to try it. I have been using it for about a week now. One of the best things I like about this Pocket 3 is the ability to place the camera head anywhere I like, and being able to control it with the remote handle. In a way this is like a pocket gimbal, and action camera in one. The camera head can be easily detached, and there is a built-in magnet, so it can be placed on any magnetic surface. I can view everything from the remote display, and control with the joystick. This makes recording super fun! The remote control does seem to lag a bit. Not a huge delay, but I do feel there is about 1 sec delay or so. Not a deal breaker. As for the video quality, I do have to say it is acceptable. I am not sure what the size of the image sensor is. But I do feel it might be on the smaller side. It does suffer quite a bit during low light conditions. In the day light it definitely works much better. It does have a wide angle feature. Perfect for vlog and other travel style videos. The recording angle can be changed in the settings, perfect for shooting in different types of contents. Overall I do like this camera for the wireless feature. None of the other pocket cameras has this feature. This makes shooting different angles much easier, and also very helpful when shooting on my own. I do hope they improve on the image quality and the wireless control lag in the future.     • I really wanted to like this camera.

Unfortunately, this product simply does not work, and as for customer service… well, there just isn’t any. I have tried multiple ways to contact Feiyu support and, so far, they have completely ignored me. Here is the problem: I can power on the camera/gimbal unit without issue. I can install the Feiyu Cam app on my phone, connect to the camera/gimbal, and everything works fine through the app. The failure occurs when I attempt to use the remote. Whenever I try to control the camera/gimbal with the remote, whether it is attached or detached, the remote will randomly lock up and display a black screen. After some time, it will either show text in Chinese or an English message stating that it is attempting to find the camera. Eventually, after an extended delay, both the camera and the remote reboot themselves. This lockup happens frequently enough to render the remote completely unusable. I will happily return here and update this review if and when Feiyu decides to support their product. If not, I will be returning it. Frankly, had I known how unreliable the device is and how unresponsive the seller would be, I would not have ordered it in the first place. ... show more
