When I received this product and tried to put it together using the instructions provided, I couldn't figure it out. They didn't make sense. But when I came back to the product listing I was able to figure it out. Even after that, there are several pieces of velcro that stick together as you are trying to wrap them. In addition, the strap that goes around the back of the foot seems like more of a nuisance to me and provides little in the way of stability. The strap on the top of the foot can pulled tight and feels very secure making the second strap unnecessary. I might even cut it off. That being said, the weight is strapped securely and after using a few times seems as though it will last. Also, if you are going to be doing a standing exercise, you wouldn't be able to put one on each foot as you are standing on a weight. It is a little bit of a pain to move back and forth between feet, and much more so if you have to change weights. (In other words, take this into consideration if you are looking at the set of 2) However, I work out at home and this will give me several more exercises that I can do without a machine.

Like others have said, these are a little weird to figure out at first. And they are a little weird to use for some exercises and motion can take some getting used to. But they do let you do some exercises at home that are tough to do any other way without resistance bands or giant home gym machines. I'm not at all sure these will work well for weights as heavy as they claim (I can't imagine strapping a 30lbs dumbell to my feet with these!) but they work pretty well for lighter, hi-rep toning exercises.
