Wore it for 5 hours, without an issue. I am 5'1, 163 lbs. About 35 _36 inches around. I ordered a large. I put it on the 2nd clasps. I believe I could do the 3rd. I may be ordering a medium soon. Those who say it hurts, they can't breathe, etc... they have no abdominal muscles, or posture. You need to be somewhat athletic to obtain the results from a waist trainer.

This product works! I am extremely impressed by the value of this waist trainer! As soon as I received my first one, I felt that the material was of a nice quality and didn't seem cheap or weak. After one week of wearing this waist trainer, my waist appears smaller by .5 inches when the shape wear is off. It instantly reduces my torso size without spillover at the top or bottom! The spiral steel bones are flexible but supportive. Since wearing this device I have had decreased lower back pain as well. However, I have a 33.5 inch waist and originally purchased a size XXL because of reviews I have read, but it turned out to be too large on the smallest setting. The return process was quick and easy.

UPDATE: So based on another reviewer who said that you should should just order your shirt size, I re-ordered a medium. This one definitely provides the cinching I need. It really creates a much smaller waistline and it forces you to sit upright. My posture needs great improvement. I suspect it would take me a few wears to get used to. I'm also sure a large would have been sufficient but this one gives me something to work toward. I would probably recommend a size up from your regular shirt size for comfort. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the sizing chart. This is a good quality corset but the sizing chart seem to be misleading. I ordered a size down from what the chart said I should order (current waist is 33") and I can easily hook the cincher up on the third row of hooks with minimal cinching. Ideally I could have gotten more cinching by ordering a size or two down. So i'm a bit disappointed in that regard. But the quality seems great and I intend to buy another one soon.

I love this waist trainer I will admit I was one of those hesitant people who was always too scared to try it. i heard bad things about waist trainers about back problems that it shifts your organs. But if you find the right fit where it holds everything in place without suffocating yourself. Its actually also helped with slouching since i have a desk job. it helps me eat less. for all my thick girls who are probably wondering what size to get I'm 5'7 originally weighed 193 when i started my diet and exercise. Now i weigh 186 getting there slowly but surely. I know it can be confusing since the size chart next to the tab to choose your size is waaayyyy different from the pink size chart in the pictures if the product. So go with the one near the tab to choose your size. that's the correct one. Repeat don't use the Pink Size chart its off and you will end up getting one either way to small or too big.

I expected it to be way more firm and tighter. ... i got xxsmall and I know my waist isn't 19 inches not even 23 I have been eating carbs so my stomach is fatter... Well I will update when I get back from vacation. I closed it all the way btw. okay my waist is now 23 inches without the corset and it closes all the way and i can breath perfect. i love it cause it helps me sweat alot in my ab area. only problem is i wish they had a smaller size.

I ordered my waist trainer about a week ago, and it arrived on Friday, which I am very pleased with. I was really nervous to order a M or an L, as i'm 5'6 and 155lbs. I ended up going with the M and it's a perfect fit! I can squeeze in just enough to fit the last row of hooks. Wear wise, at first it is a little uncomfortable (as it's tight) but that is expected of all waist trainers, and you get used to it after a while. It is not completely like a corset. A corset makes you unable to bend or even move because of the steel bones in it. This one doesn't have actual steel in it, I think it might be plastic, but it still does the job almost the exact same. And for $20, compared to $140 for other ones like "Waist shaperz" or other brands, I think this is a steal! Very happy with my purchase overall.

I can honestly say I love this waist trainer! In about a months time I am now down to the last set of hooks, I'm actually about to order another one of these in a smaller size! I'm so excited! It was very tight the first couple times I wore mine, I would only wear it for like 3-4 hours here and there to help break it in and adjust to it. But now I can wear it for up to 10 hours just fine. I haven't measured myself to see how many inches I've lost but I definitely see a difference and so does my financé. I don't wear mine everyday either and I was still able to cinche down smaller and the results last!! It still smells like latex though so that's why I'm only giving it a 4 star, I don't mind the latex smell but I think that's because I'm used to it now lol. You can't smell it through your clothes, but putting it on and off you still smell latex. I love the cotton inside though, it's really easy against my skin!! And I love how I look in my trainer. The hooks are very durable too. None have broken and I move around a lot in mine, bending and stretching, being up and down on and off the floor, I love yoga and I do it very often. Can't wait to see how small I can get my love handles and waist to be honestly.
