Works Well, But Doesn't Remove Pet Enzyme Remover Fragrance Odors

Ok, I'm really going to say this is about a 4.5. Febreze, Lysol, and Nature's Miracle pet enzyme remover make our household go around. And even if it didn't, I'd probably keep buying this just because my daughter likes to run around the house spraying it as she proclaims it to be her superpower. Normally, we buy it at Costco, but life happens, we were running out, and I wasn't going to be able to set foot in a store conveniently for a few days, so I ordered from Amazon. There were no condition issues with the product we received. I'm saying it's a 4.5 because it's no match for Nature's Miracle...meaning, you can still smell both of their pet enzyme products I own after liberally dousing it with this febreze product, so it may not eliminate all smells. I happen to really like the smell of the new citrus nature's miracle we purchased, but I've gotten really burnt out on the smell of the other stuff, and my husband ordered us a second gallon of it, not realizing I was sick of the smell and we already had one sitting in the cupboard. Naturally, I'd rather smell this, since I actually really like the smell of this particular febreze product. But no luck...it didn't even dent the Nature's Miracle armor. Which is great for getting rid of cat pee, bad if you don't like the smell of the enzyme remover. So, just be prepared...it will help with the vast majority of odors you find unpleasant, but not all of them. I haven't had any problems with these particular cans, but I purchase the same type of spray cans from Costco, and every now and then something goes wrong in the spray mechanism and you end up with a mostly full bottle of febreze you can't access safely or use. Does a good job masking odors quickly without being overwhelming or too perfumey. The scent lingers for a reasonable amount of time after each spray. Do not SHAKE the bottle!

Don't shake the bottle when you get it! That will cause them not to completely spray the entire bottle contents. Apparently these are having issues with being shaken too much while in transit to/from Amazon to final delivery. Out of 6 bottles ordered at the same time 4 of them quit spraying before being out of liquid. The product uses a gas to make these an aerosol spray process. The shaking causes that gas to mix with the other liquids and become less able to spray an entire can. Otherwise, this flavor is my favorite and it's super at covering up odors. Sadly, it seems the price has almost doubled from when I purchased in late 2025 so keep an eye on them to be on sale for less than 10 for the three pack. I'm not sure if I will buy from Amazon again with the failure rate of these. I might stick to buying locally. ... show more
