I am a 45 year old woman, and in good shape. I have struggled after the birth of my daughter (18 years ago) with left hip pain. She was a very large baby but the way. I have always felt like my left side has never been as strong after her birthday. Most recently, I did ALOT of work in my backyard, and boy, did I mess up my back. I try to walk daily on my walking pas, but I could barely do that. My hip and entire lower back were in such pain. Even walking my dog daily hurt. I finally decided to look at braces to aide in my healing. I went back and forth trying to research and read reviews. I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I must say, o am EXTREMELY impressed and happy with this purchase. It has taken away pain and I will use it Everytime I walk on my walking pas for extra support, in addition to, doing yard work or anything physical around my house. I have never used a back brace before, but this has been a GOD send for me. I highly recommend.

I used velcrobstraps frombanother project, adding 5 inch by one inch straps to ensure a safety margin in length , it wouod easily fit a 6 xl...but i am a 7xl... So, i added the straps for better peace of mind. These types of belts tend tobride up so inalso madevtwo rivet holes on either side, passed paracord in a "navy" knot to prevent it coming loose until i wanted it to, then tied those cordsbto my seat belt of my powerchair. Worked fine for at least 3 hours, then you pull it back into place while putting your feet on the ground for better circulation...the belt is good material, rip stop strong, i wish it came in lighter colors to reflect the heat away from you as on hot days it overheats but overall, quite comfortable and likely i will buy again to gave two, again for safety ( one kept in reserve, nit worn with the other).

Brace is hard to figure out and not very comfortable, however the company contacted me and offered a full refund, you have to respect a company that stands behind their product. What did not work for me might work for you, you can’t lose.

The belt provides good support and is easy to put on. My only issue is the thickness of the materials seems thinner than other similar belts I have used. On one hand, the smaller material keeps the total weight down, but will the belt wear more quickly than the thicker belts?
