Had chair for 90 days only used it a couple of times before vacation. While on vacation chair malfunctioned rt motor quit but left one kept working. Made an abrupt right turn almost put me over curb and out in traffic. I called them but motor is still on back order and they have quit responding to emails. ... show more

    • Lightweight and easy to use.
My husband had another foldable electric wheelchair. It was heavy and to get it in the back of my suv, I had to use ramps to roll it into the back. The other problem was a one piece foot-plate. For my husband to get in or out of the wheelchair he had to stand on the foot-plate and turn around and I had to hold the back of the chair to prevent it from tipping. This new chair is perfect. I can lift it into the back of my suv. The legs come off easily and it has two foot plates so they fold out of the way making it really easy for my husband to get in and out of chair. This chair met all of my expectations. Well after about 6 months the chair stopped working. The on/off switch turned red and flashed three times, paused and flashed three more times. I called Feather for information and they said to email their support department. I’ll keep you updated on our progress. ... show more

I purchased this feather chair back in September last year. I’ve had the chair repaired Three times. The first time I had to send it back to the factory in New Jersey, so it left me a month and a half without a chair. Then the left side motor went bad and they sent me a left side motor. However I had to pay the service fee myself, as I was using a local repair facility as they said that’s how to do it. Now the right side motor has gone bad, they say it’s out of warranty I have nothing coming, I appealed this decision and I have to wait three days to have their supervisor to make a decision. I wouldn’t recommend this chair it’s a piece of junk. I saw all the “wonderful “ reviews on Amazon and thought I was making a good decision. I regret this purchase I wouldn’t recommend this chair to anyone ... show more
