This thing is really nice! Perfect size for 2 small dogs. You can turn it one way so it looks like a solid piece of furniture, or turn it the other way so the doggies can look out the door of it. My dogs like their area to be cave like so I put the front cage part against the wall. They go in through the side access door. Very heavy duty as well. I bought a dog bet that fit the specifications of the bottom of the crate here on Amazon as well. I only put my dogs in there when I go to the grocery store or out to eat. This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one was smaller for my previous dog (which she had for a few years) and I got the bigger one for my current dog. They are incredibly sturdy, I weigh about 150 and could stand on both of them without fear of them breaking. When my current dog was younger he chewed on the metal but only broke the welding on one small bar and chipped off some paint. It might not hold up as well if your dog is super destructive though. I'm very happy with this table crate, it's an attractive end table and perfect enclosure for my two Dachshunds. I put it together myself and found it very easy but a good tip is to not tighten the bolts until it's all together then go back and tighten.

Crate came fast and was easy to set up. It is very pretty and a good size however may need a bigger one once GSP is bigger and thought this was a one and done crate from sizing chart. Pull out bottom for potty pads or spills is nice to have. Double gates are great. Main negative is metal is very loud and flimsy and latches could use some work. Larger dogs would probably break latches or bite through metal pretty quickly. Love that the back is one piece so you don't have to worry your dog can reach anything while flat against the wall. Top is also one piece so great for using as a "table" or pet storage such as treats, potty pads, poop bags, toys, ect. I did add felt pads to the "feet" so when moving on the hardwoods no scratches would happen but even without the felt crate is easy to slide. When we unpacked this item, we found that the bottom plastic tray was broken. I contacted the seller who said they could not replace the tray and advised us to contact Amazon. Upon contacting Amazon, we were granted a $50 credit to our account. Turns out the tray isn’t really necessary for our needs And it actually looks fabulous in our living room. We purchased it so that the puppy would have a place to go where he could still see us and be calm and content, however, we found that our older dog seeks shelter in this crate to get away from his annoying little brother. Money well spent.. I have to say that it looks like a much higher priced product when it is all assembled. Very classy. ... show more
