  • So much fun
Color: Light Gray
This cat tree is huge. My cats just love it. They sleep in the cubby they sleep on the tiers and they love the hanging squishy balls.

  • Great tree so far but be careful of the little bells!
Color: Smoky Gray
Overall I really like the cat tree, I like the color and it's really sturdy, easy to put together with a great height. Definitely the best thing I've bought for my two kittens but please be careful with the little balls that attach to the toy piece on top! They have tiny bells and one of my kittens managed to get his entire claw wedged into the hole of the bell. Thankfully I realized right away and was able to cut it loose but had I not been in the room I'm not sure what might have happened. Cutting all bells off of toys from now on, just to be safe. ... show more

  • My cat loves this
Color: Smoky Gray
First of all, the quality was really good, it’s held up from all the scratching so far. putting it together took some time because the instructions were weird, but i eventually figured it out. it’s taller than me LOL, but knowing my little guy likes to be at ever high point in the house has made it his favorite spot. ... show more

  • Good value for the money and what it is but not the quality I hoped for
Color: Smoky Gray
EDIT--- 9 months in. OK I'm not changing my score. I still give it 4 stars based on value. Still considering this a budget buy and at this price I'm happy with the quality so far. So far nothing has broken. I did have to put on a second strap to a second wall to stabilize it, without those two straps the cat would knock it over easily. When I put this up my cat was 6 lbs and was only 8 months old. Now she is over a year old and about 8 lbs and I feel she is really pushing the weight limit for the bowl hammock. When I see her in it and see it sagging I got worried, so I took off the hammock and stripped off the material, used the board as a pattern and cut out a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum to match, glued them together, recovered, and put it back on the tree. Now I did this more for my own comfort rather than it actually failing. In my mind I fixed it before it broke. Having said that the rest of the tree is holding up well........Except for the material used to cover the tree. Like I said in my first review, it is a VERY thin material like velour. It does NOT wear well. I am constantly patching holes in the "traffic" areas. The "scratching" areas are shredded. Now that is not exactly unexpected as that is typical of cats scratching but what is....ANNOYING is that instead of tearing like a cloth or going "stringy" like a carpet would, it is turning into little fuzzballs that stick to everything. I have little gray "lint" EVERYWHERE and they stick hard enough to even give the vacuum fits. So my UPDATED recommendation? I think this is still a good budget buy. I would recommend for a first purchase to make sure your kitty likes trees and will use them. At the rate I'm going I expect this to last a total of maybe 2 years before I have to replace. But if you want something to last and give your kitty years of playful fun, I'd go with a more expensive version that uses carpet as a cover and uses pressed board or even better yet solid wood construction. This is one instance where you really get what you pay for. Hope this helps potential buyers know what to expect. First review Ok for the most part I am happy with the cat tree. It took me about 45 minutes to put together. It would have been done in 30 minutes but I took part of it back apart to change the round hammock to the other side. All the parts are labeled OK, some were a little faded but still easily identifiable. My cat loves it, especially the round bowl hammock. But a couple things to take note of that I did not realize until it was too late. First this is NOT made from fiberboard or pressed board. It is made of what looks and feels like compressed and resined cardboard. It almost reminds me of HDF paneling. It is hard but it is lighter and more flimsy than I expected . We'll see how it holds up. Another thing to note is that it is NOT covered in a short pile carpet like many trees. Instead it is simply covered in what looks and feels like velour. It is glued down well but there is almost no padding. It is simply a piece of cloth glued to a board. I've got T-shirts thicker than this material. I do not expect it to wear well. I've only had the tree less than a week and already have a small hole (dime sized) worn (not torn) on one of the platforms. It was just a thin spot in the material they used and it is the spot where my cat jumps up constantly that has already gone bare. I just took a small piece of fleece and glued to the spot. seems fine now. Lastly I do not see how people are saying that this supports heavier cats. My cat is only 6 pounds and I would say she is at the limit for this tree. If she was any heavier the round hammock would break. Also even though I do have it anchored to the wall with the supplied strap, it is still very wobbly. I have the tree in the corner of the room so I'm going to fix it by using a brace on two sides to anchor to both walls. The reason I gave 4 stars is that even with the problems, this tree does give good value for the money. Trees of higher quality will cost significantly more. So for a budget tree (less than $100) this is a good buy. ... show more

  • Easy to Assemble Full-Size Cat Tree - Wear Gloves!
Color: Smoky Gray
I bought this model of cat tree after reading reviews for other best-selling sets on Amazon and seeing that they although many were slightly cheaper, they were smaller, had stability issues and/or were seemingly not built for full size cats. This tower did not disappoint! It was easy to assemble, but make sure you wear some gloves beforehand so you don't scrape your hands up with the twine. Although it included a hex tool, I used a drill with a hex bit on a lower torque setting to make assembly faster and ensure the screws were tightly installed. All the parts were labelled well and the instructions were very clear. Don't worry about parts because there was an extra of every screw included. Since they don't come in separate bags, it's advisable to use a little tray to sort, separate, and identify the different pieces of hardware before you start. Can I just say this thing IS BIG?! I'm a 6' 3" guy and was easily able to assemble it, but a person on the shorter side might need to get a chair to put on the last few pieces on top (which simply screw on), but it's nice especially for cats who like getting up high and looking out from a perch. I have no issues with it's stability and rigidity. People who are having issues I suspect did not tighten the screws or the poles in (hand-screwed/rotated) securely enough. Again, I used a drill with a hex biy set to a lower torque setting, which I think helped, but also make sure you screw the poles in as tightly as you can without causing damage. It's only been up for a few days since putting it up. My cats are a little skittish and are not too accepting of change, so haven't totally adopted this as their own just yet, but I'm sure it will come with time. I hope to update this review some time in the future to give an update in regards to it's long-term durability. UPDATE: About a year later this cat tree is holding up wonderfully. The cats quickly took a liking within two weeks or so after posting the above review last year. One cat's favorite spot was the very top cushion, another cat liked hanging out in the box, and another absolutely LOVES the half-sphere hammock. There is no wear noticable and no parts have started to fall apart or degrade. The cats don't seem to be using the scratch pads too much and didnt seem to enjoy the lower part of the tower too much, which wasn't a huge surprise. 100% worth the purchase! ... show more
