I searched a lot for a cat tower that I felt was worth the money. It didn’t feel right to buy something for $100+ for it to get ripped apart over time. Also really wanted something that had multiple scratching components. My cats were not impressed with another tower I had to return but this one? Safe to say they love it and it’s really worth the price. My orange cat is a big boy and lays comfortably in the platforms. Very sturdy, I didn’t even secure it to the all and simple to put together. As for the balls, if anyone thinks fluffy toys will survive cats they’re delusional. It’s very simple to replace the hanging toys, I just put a more durable one on. ... show more

I couldn’t even put it together all the way before she was all over it! I purchased the beige option. Fits perfectly behind my couch right in front of the window. We recently adopted her and she was scratching the heck out of my couch - thankfully no damage - but glad she’s taking a liking to this and will stay off the couch. Super easy to put together. I don’t think it took more than 30 mins if that. The only part that took a min was placing the smaller bars inside the “tent” because you have to put screws in through the bottom and the top but for the most part you can look down the hole to make sure it aligns. Assembly was simple. Didn't take too long. We have had it in two locations for our cat, and she has loved sleeping in the top most bed and scratching on the posts. We have had it for just under a year. Location 1 she used it for a while but then stopped. Might not have liked the ceiling fan blowing on her there, just a guess. We moved it to location 2 to allow a climbing path on top of some cabinets. This is where I need the tower to be more stable. The posts holding up the beds wiggle so much that I also wondered if that is why she stopped sleeping there. But she started sleeping in the bed again with the new spot. Maybe it is quieter in the second spot. I added some screws to stabilize the posts. This helped, but there are still some wiggle action happening. Since the cat uses it, I am happy with it. If you need it to be stable and solid, look elsewhere. ... show more

Our cat absolutely loves this cat tree. Easy to put together, nice & sturdy, cute hideout cubby and tiered beds to sleep. Love all the scratching posts,it keeps my cat from scratching on our furniture and he enjoys playing with the 2 hanging balls with bells. SO FUN!

This one was fairly easy to put together. I was American of the material used as cover. Is not like the old school ones that use a short shag carpet. And I thought the purchase were too small and that the whole thing would be like for a kitten rather than a full-grown cat. As it turns out, she likes the small little square perch. She curls up it's got a little bumper around the edge and she seems to like it. She doesn't use the little house/cubby/ cave lookin thing, She went in, checked it out and never went back in. But she uses the perched and give her a good view of the patio with the birds and the squirrels from her perch. I would buy this one again. It's sturdy. Not overbearing presents in the room, Good quality. It would be nice if the perch cushions came off to wash. They don't. This item is reasonable for the price. If you have large cat, like 15 lbs and up it would be a too small. They would need bigger platforms/perches. My cat is petite @ 6-7 lbs pounds full grown. I'm happy with the cat tree and my cat Yeezma ( she came to me with that name and apparently it's some character in a Disney movie) it's grown on me. She seems to enjoy the platforms....when she feels like it. The gray color is neutral and doesn't stand out. you don't really notice it. It blends well. ... show more

One of our cats has been having behavioral issues (peeing everywhere), and since he destroyed two of their previous (more expensive - $200+) cat trees, we decided to try out some cheaper trees that they could destroy without it hurting our wallets as much. The build wasn't terribly difficult. The brackets included didn't match the brackets in the instructions, and we had to drill out a hole in one of the legs of the tree that had extra plastic melted in the hole. Regarding the tree, I decided to leave a review to help others out about the size. It is much smaller that I imagined it was going to be. We have a 10lb and 16lb cat, and they kind of fit in the beds. The 10lb cat barely fits in the house. The 16lb cat tried, and he was hanging out half way. There is really no comfortable surface area on the tree either that's big enough for teenage to adult cats. This tree would be perfect for kittens, or extra tiny adult cats. At this point, they are pretty much only using the scratching posts and the smaller cat is using the house - but no one feels comfy enough sitting on the bed-pirches. In the attached photos, the tuxedo kitty is the 10 lb-er, and the black kitty is the 16 lb-er. ... show more

Stuck this by a corner window and now my cat is our honorary “block captain.” She loves the upper levels for naps and scouting. Good quality for the price, easy to put together. I have the cream colored one and it looks nice in my apartment.
