I bought this cat tree 5 years ago and my cats and I love it. It's nice and tall, and they always sleep on the highest perches. The perches are cushioned on the bottom and the sides, and they are big, so my adult cats fit no problem. The platforms are thick and solid and the whole thing is nice and heavy. The base is large, so it is very sturdy and it doesn't tip over or wobble when they play on it. The sisal rope and the material that covers everything are of good quality, and it still looks great after all these years. I followed the assembly directions and it was easy to put together. This tree is worth every penny. I'm so glad I bought it, and I'd buy it again.

Well made, strong and easy to put together if you follow the instructions. I recommend using a stronger tool than the one that is included. Plenty of room if you have multiple cats.

It has been a few months now and this tree is very sturdy. It has not failed us yet. My Yorkie, is 2 years old) has been working his way up into the tree. It was first on the third level. We couldn't figure out how. Then recently he has gotten to the the forth level. He loves it. The only thing is he can't get down. I think Missy, the cat, is the instigator. Unfortunately we have moved the chair that was helping him get up there. We don't want him to fall. He is not part cat where they land on their feet. We are very happy with our tree. I had bought a cat tree from some web site for $50 and it looked great the cats loved it also, but it fell apart in a month. IT would wobble when the cat jumped on it. So I was concerned with this order. The pictures show this had posts in all the right spots but were made with the same stuff the other one I had. I went ahead and bought it even at the price being more then I thought I really wanted to spend. I got it and laid out all the pieces and put it together by myself and it took about twenty min. As the pieces went together I had NO wobble in the posts, which I was happy to see, everything made sense as it got taller as to why my first tree was unsuccessful, the placement of the posts is really important to prevent any wobble. The carpet is very nice maybe not real carpet but the fabric is soft which the cats love. I am so happy with my purchase I would recommend this to anyone. My cats love the tree they climb to the top and sleep very comfy. Mind you I have 1 big Main coon cat, 1 calico skinny and 1 very happy and fat cat that is a little slow. The "slow" cat is one to not move around much and is not comfortable climbing on things and we have found her on the middle section sleeping very happy then she went to the next level. We are seeing some great improvement in her all due to the tree, maybe or not. Go buy this and don't think twice.

I have 2 kittens who love to climb. When I bought this tree, they were only a few months old, so I was a little concerned that it was so high, and wondered if they could actually climb up to the top perches. The perch on the very top comes up to the top of my forehead, and I'm 5 foot 7 inches tall. I shouldn't have worried! They had no trouble at all. This tree was pretty easy to put together, although it's large, and there are a lot of screws and such, so it took me about 90 minutes. I'm really glad I bought this tree. I read the reviews on Amazon, and because it seemed like most people really liked it, I decided to give it a try. I think it's well worth the price. At this price point I haven't seen a tree as high or with as many places to hang out and explore in the local pet stores or on line. I have the dark grey color, which is close to black. The carpeting is soft and plush and holds up well to vacuuming. There are plenty of scratching posts. My cats like to sleep on the perches together. This is funny, because they are 11 months old now, and pretty big. The perches have about a 14" x 12" surface space, so it's pretty funny to see them both squashed onto the same perch. The perches hold their combined weight though, and they jump all over this tree and it's amazingly sturdy and hasn't tipped over yet. I didn't anchor it to the wall, so I was a little concerned about it's stability. It barely moves when they launch themselves from the top of the couch onto the tree. The 2 little cubbies are also nice and sometimes one or both of them will sleep in there. Neither of my cats are very interested in the balls that hang from the bottom of the 3 perches, so I'm not sure how sturdily these are attached and if they would hold up to major kitty batting. I only have one minor complaint. The scratching post on the bottom that can be used as a ramp, is too steep, and they don't use it for scratching or as a ramp. They completely ignore it. If this ramp had been a little longer and therefore at a less steep angle, I think the cats would find it more useful.
