It has held up to her random bursts of zoomies, is her favorite place to sit to stare at critters out the window, and is very easy to clean (she gets an upset tummy often). My 8.5 lb cat loves it! She was urinating in the corner so we figured we’d put a cat tree there and she hasn’t left it in the past hour! She played on it and plays pretty rough and it was sturdy enough, but if your cat is bigger than 15 lb and plays rough not too sure how it would hold, and the top is small as you can see in the picture. I remember when Petco used to get hundreds of dollars for these things! This a nice small cat tree, suitable for one cat. Its only about five feet tall so it will fit easily anywhere. Putting it together was a little challenging. Just pay close attention to the item number stickers on every part. I got confused thinking the tallest legs go on the bottom, they don't. All you need to assemble it is one included Allen wrench. The instructions are not detailed, but they do the job. Watch the YouTube video for extra help. Just take your time and don't rush. Putting the four pillars inside each of the two houses was annoying because the carpet holes don't quite line up, scissors fixes this. A centering punch helps too. I bought this 54” cat tree for my cat and overall it’s been a great addition to the apartment. It has a nice modern look with the dark gray color, and it doesn’t take up too much space while still giving multiple levels for climbing, lounging, and scratching. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was able to put it together in under an hour. Once assembled, it felt stable enough for daily use, and my cat immediately started exploring it. The different platforms and perches kept her entertained, and she especially liked the higher levels to relax and look around. The scratching posts also did their job well and helped redirect scratching away from furniture, which was a big plus. The only downside is that after about 6 months of regular use, one of the components started to wear down and eventually broke. It still lasted long enough to get good use out of it, but I do wish the overall build quality was a bit more durable for long-term use—especially if you have a very active or heavier cat. Overall, I’d still say it’s a good value for the price, especially if you’re looking for something affordable that your cat will actually use. I’ve had it for over a month now it’s still nice and sturdy and my cats love it. It’s pretty heavy so even when there extra playful and running up it at full force it doesn’t move. I would definitely buy it again!

Just finished assembling it, it took me 1 hour. The instructions are clear, but the fabric holes aren't always in the right place, so it requires some dexterity to assemble. My cat is 9 pounds and while it holds its weight it doesn't seem sturdy. Overall, the wood is very thin. Hopefully will last a couple of months. The color is nice and matches well with my other furniture. The size is ideal for small cats and not very tall, so I'm not afraid of him falling. ... show more
