I was very pleased to open the mattress up to find no oders of chemicals or any other possibilities. Yaaay! It is definitely firm you feel it has more than enough depth within the six inch base to not bottom out, to say a wood frame. It offers just the right amount of stability. Surprisingly the two inch memory foam on the top offers the right amount of give to be comfy for a rest filled night sleep or a daytime nap 😴 Zzzz I previously had an expensive rediculously too thick mattress with a memory foam attached top that was impossible to get sheets for even the deep pocket sheets would not fit. This is incredibly just as nice and a quarter of the thickness. I definitely recommend 👍 🙂

Surprised that only 5 inches and actually comfortable. My wife and I were skeptical having just came from a 4 seasons pillowtop bed which i disposed of during our move. The bed was ready to use in 24 hours (may require 72 hours to assure its fluffed up to its full extent ) I am 6' 200 pounds and my wife is 5' 6 125 ish and we had a great sleep . I have no complaints and originally I got this because it was cheap ,not an air mattress and intention to be used for a month or 2 but after sleeping on it , I think I'm going to put off shopping for another bed for awhile, my wife was happy with it and to think I thought about returning it before I ever opened it based on how thin it is. I am glad I didn't because it's surprisingly comfortable and for under 100 dollars it is well worth it. If I was to test this bed without knowing anything about it I'd think it was easily a 500 dollar bed or more just from comfort alone. Now I wouldn't go jumping in the air and belly flop on to it because after all it is only 5 inches thick but make no mistake this bed is actually comfortable to sleep on.

We got this for my son’s room and we are just so happy with how easy it was to assemble and how comfortable it is! We purchased for a bed that didn’t require a box spring and it holds up so well! We would purchase again for sure! Highly recommend!

My husband and I just slept like a BABY! last night. We bought our old mattress from W*M about 5 years ago and it was a memory foam as well. We knew we desperately needed a new one! I’ve been searching for weeks and weeks on Amazon and came across this multiple times with it having 4.5 stars with 22k reviews. Well, it has those reviews for a reason. It feels like you’re getting hugged on a cloud all night. Not too firm, not too soft, literally just right. Our 3.5 year old slept in between us as she usually does and got the best sleep last night too— didn’t wake up once! I opened the box yesterday and my husband and I both told ourselves we were waiting at least 48 hours no matter what…. Well—- we waited 8. The photo is shown after only 4 hours after taking it out of the package. I was BLOWN away how fast and much it expanded. I always am the first one to say to wait at least 48 hours but this bad boy genuinely did not need it!! Don’t waste anymore time if you’re debating and buy this baby!! 500% worth it and I would buy this 5x over with how good I slept last night—- being 7 months pregnant no less! This thing is a STEAL! At the price!! Do not be discouraged by the price! I almost spent an extra 100-150$ on another mattress & I’m so glad I didn’t. Edit—— We’re a few weeks in and this is still a solid 5 stars! Our sleep has improved dramatically. My toddler has been sleeping so much better and doesn’t wake up throughout the night anymore. I used to have extreme hip pain (going on 8 months pregnant now) and my hips are feeling so much better! This has been an absolute lifesaver— once again, don’t let that price fool you!! You don’t need to spend 1k’s of $$’s to have a good bed. This one is it :D
