This car is very cool, I got it because I have 12 grandchildren with 8 of them being boys! The remote has a demo button that puts the car through the various actions that it can do. It works best on a smooth surface or a fairly tight carpet. The flashing lights on the roof add to the fun. The Police Car ships with 3 rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries for the car and regular AA batteries for the remote. The car recharges in about an hour through the supplied USB cable - nice! The size is perfect in that it's small enough for them to handle but big enough to be realistic. The kids love it and all of them wanted to have the remote to transform and drive it. It is a little more fragile in the Transformer robot position, when it's a car it seems more durable. It was a big hit and very entertaining.

This is a fun, remote controlled car/robot. The controller is very easy to use, and the car is quick. It transforms into a robot with just the touch of one button. There are separate controls for forward/back and spinning around, so you can easily make it go in any direction. The box says it's for 8 years and up, and I would say that is accurate. I bought it for my five-year old, and the sides are a little fragile for him, but it is so easy to use that he is having fun with it.

I bought one for my neighbour's kids, a son and a daughter, as a gift. They really enjoyed playing with it and especially loved the transferability—the dog was very surprised! There was no setup really, and the toy was fun and easy to use. It's a great inexpensive gift, especially for the holidays and birthdays. I appreciate the value for the money and enjoyed watching the kids smile and laugh. It kept them busy for the whole visit. The remote control is also simple for all ages.

This transformer robotic car is a great value for the price point! It’s more of a robotic car toy that’s fun for driving around on flat linoleum-type surfaces at slow speeds. My cat and dog were really interested in this toy and they enjoyed chasing it around the kitchen as I enjoyed driving it! My 14 year-old daughter also enjoyed playing with this toy. Here’s a couple of things to note: Trim/Steering Adjustment There’s no trim control for alignment of the steering; however, I adjusted the front wheels manually and that helped a lot. Battery Life Good battery life! Played for over 20 minutes with no signs of power loss. Comes with a charging cable that has a USB connector that can be plugged into a phone charging block. The robot cat has a charging port on the back, located next to the on/off switch.
