This tool is of very high quality. It has a spring that gives tension to the test gap screw. This helps hold the test gap setting while in use. Many other versions of this on Amazon do not have this spring.

I liked the option of adjusting the gap to check the strength of the spark, and the alligator clamp to get a good ground. The price was right, and the quality was good. My only complaint is that the head that goes into the ignition wire doesn't fit securely. It is removable, and it would have been nice if there were different heads to fit different applications. I will remove some from old spark plugs I have around the shop and see if they will screw onto the tester.

Works as advertised and the gap adjust-ability is great. I used it to test the gap ranges on used and new ignition coils to get a feel for the maximum gap the coil would cross on each plug wire. Very insightful. Would buy again and recommend.

This works well, I would preffer a cover over the spark though. I have been zapped a couple times. The clip is a little tight, but it does it's job.
