4 month old kitten loves it. It's tall enough to perch high and look at birds, it's sturdy and has lots of cat-ly stimulating things for her to do. Directions were easy to follow. Picture shows the scratch board crooked but that's my fault, I accidentally bent the L bracket when putting it together and didn't bother to fix before the pic. I got it during a 49% off sale so it was definitely worth the price to me but even full price, I'd buy again. I saw some reviews that said it wasn't very sturdy and walking spaces were too small for their full grown cat but so far it seems the opposite. May have to update my review if that changes once she's bigger but she really pounces straight at it(not on, AT. Mufasa style lol) and it doesn't wobble like the review I saw said. As far as small walking/moving around space, I suppose I could see that being a problem around the bowl part but cats climb on the tiniest windowsills so I don't see that being a problem for us, though might be for bigger cats. Perch bed might be a little small for adult cat but just barely, if even at all. I'll have to wait and see once she's all growed up. ... show more

My cats love the tower. Lots of fun but the red eyes in the mice are a hazard. One cat got the first eye out within the first hour of play. I removed the other three. Otherwise a good product.

The media could not be loaded. Waifu mostly put this together in about an hour, with only one issue- we were missing a screw and I had to find a fit from our junk bin. This screw and one other item would be the only negatives we found, more on the other in a bit. Our old one was getting a bit shabby, and frankly might be too tall for our older (and somewhat fatter) cat to traverse: this new one is more midsized. Our cat took to it surprisingly quickly and was climbing all over it before it was even completed. I was initially worried that the platforms would be too snmall for her, but they seem to fit her fairly well. She doesn't seem to take to the bubble well, but that may change, or it may be more suitable to a kitten. Two final thoughts- the other issue I mentioned was the screws in the bottom ramp go in up, and I worry over time they will pierce the carpet. It's more of a concern than a problem though. The other- I think the designers of this are people who care about pets, and not just trying to make a buck, little touches all over the tower and even giving instructions on how to use the box as a kennel are included. ... show more

**UPDATE** 2/27/24 Knocking this down a couple of stars. Only a few months in and all of the platforms broke under the weight of cats playing heavily on it. Bad choice of materials - cheap particle board instead of MDF or solid wood. Given the cost, I would have expected better. **ORIGINAL** At first I was pretty upset about not being able to assemble with what they provided but I realized afterwards that I made a mistake while assembling the cat tree. The instructions are a little confusing in a few spots and I immediately thought I was missing pieces but the mistake was on my end so I am revising my review! This is a nice, sturdy cat tree with a lot of neat little features - I particularly like the plastic bowl and it is cute to see the cats curl up and lay in it. The carpeting is very soft and there are plenty of scratching areas for my cats. Overall, it’s another great way to bring joy to my feline overlords! ... show more

For years we had older cats - think 17-20 yo. We finally lost our last sweet old man before Thanksgiving. We knew we wanted more cats, so right after the holidays we took in 2 rescues - a 3 yo and a kitten. To say the least, these beasts are much more active than we had gotten used to. We needed toys and something for them to climb on (other than our counters). This is really pretty epic. It is sturdy and there are so many surfaces and surface types. Both of my new cats love it. I also will say there is a strap built onto the "fishbowl" level, so you can attach this to a wall for stability. So far, we're ok. This is heavy enough and has a wide enough base that I think it's pretty secure. However, as my kitten grows, we'll have that option. I will say: putting this thing together is NOT a fun experience. Where some of the holes are located can be tough to get to, and I was ready to throw the suspended tube away. The intended bolt was just too short, and others would be too long and punch through the carpet. Luckily, my husband found something we had here around the house that worked. But I broke every single fingernail putting the rest together. However, now that it's together and my fingernails are growing back, I have to say this is worth it. ... show more
