I'm an oil painter, a really messy one. I don't know how some people can be so clean when painting; paint gets everywhere when I use it, most especially on my hands. I needed a ton of hand soap to clean it up, and it never seemed to really get all the paint schmutz off. Bar soap worked better, but it still took longer than it should. Remembering the orange cleaner my dad used to use whenever he had to work on the car, I ordered this to see if it would do the job. And it totally does. A small amount of this soap will cut through the oil and crud that builds up on my hands with no problem. Saves time, soap, and water! I have been using this stuff for probably 20 years or better probably using it four or five times a week at 4 or 5 times a day So I am definitely experienced In hand cleaner grease removal And I have probably used just about every product imaginable that is easy to find at your big box or car parts stores. This is my first time purchasing it from Amazon, It came in a box I opened the box the fast orange looked as expected it wasn't smashed the shipping was great but that's pretty typical of Amazon when it comes to shipping. I generally work on very old classic cars that have been neglected for decades so getting grease grime and dirt all the way up your arms is pretty normal and all part of the restoration process. This Fast Orange hand cleaner if you have never used it It's white in color and it has a real fine texture to it almost like there is microscopic sand in it, It will usually get most of the grease off your hands in one or two "latherings". It has a faint orange citrus smell to it, I keep going back to it because it works well for the price It's a thousand times better than Dawn just soap, It's way safer than using gasoline and a rag to clean your hands, I would imagine it's safer than acetone and to top it all off it's not flammable. If you work with their hands working on automobiles or that type of greasy oily dirty work like maybe an oil rig you will be happy you bought this There isn't much more to say other than that. ... show more

Needed to renew my dwindling supply so I ordered a gallon through Amazon for a pretty good price, but the order that I received had arrived with a broken pump (seems to be a common issue). Have contacted Permatex (through Amazon link), remains to be seen how (or if) they address this issue. Update: Permatex sent me a new replacement pump.
