Why did you pick this product vs others?: After trying it with baking soda and other tricks, I decided to give in and try this for hard water spots on our car, mostly from a sprinkler nearby where we park. It took a bit of elbow grease to rub the gel with a microfiber towel but it worked like gang busters. Some spots I can still see the remnants of the hard water spots when trying to see from an angle, but it definitely got rid of most of visible ones. I waited until the car was covered in the shadows, washed the car with soap and water, dried the spots and then applied the gel. They warn you to not do this under direct sunlight. As soon as I got most of one side of the car finished, I immediately washed it off with water and sponge rubs.

Great product! Does exactly what it claims, to remove water spots. Please use as directed. Use in shade and early morning is best. Clean surfaces before use. I had a water bucket handy and several nice micro fiber cloths. I used a small area and gently used in circles. They easily removed the spots without using any hard rubbing at all. I used one cloth to removed product film, the used a light soapy water with another, then used water to removed any soap, and finally used another cloth to buff it all. Sounds like a lot of work but really wasn’t. I was able to go to another area next to the one I did and repeat. Then another til the entire hood was done. My hood looks like new without any water spots. I now carry a squeegee to remove any water drops on car but have great faith in this product. Do it right and you will be well pleased. I am.

If you have had water spots for years I am not sure this is the product for you. I used this product on a new vehicle and it worked perfectly. I plan on using this product as part of my maintenance routine. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend it.

This was actually like the only thing that worked to get the water stains off my car, however I would recommend getting a car wash right after using because it will be a little difficult to get the residue off if you wait to remove it.

Works great on Windows I had water spots for like 6 months I didn't think anything was going to get it out but this did works great took a little bit of work but it came out perfectly fine tried it on the paint as well It works pretty good everything came out just took a while is all

If the water spots you want to remove are recent, then this or a detergent (like Dawn) would work. A good steamer might help (exercise caution). If, like on my 2003 Jaguar XK8, the water spots are old and engrained I don't believe ( and I tried) that this product will help. For that, you will have to do a complete paint correction
