This artificial grass is cheap, looks cheap, feels cheap, but it's cheap for the size. If you need a temporary space for your dog to pee, this will work well. If you want a lush artificial grass rug-like item, this is not for you.

Except for the strong chemical odor, overall it's a great find! The quality is excellent for the price. It is actually soft not super soft but soft. It's very thick and you can't see much of the black mat. It comes folded so you have seams all throughout it. I just hope the seams will disappear soon cuz I'm using it for a project inside my house. I do not recommend using it right away, in the house or garage, until you put it outside to air out. I wouldn't recommend letting your dog use it until the odor has dissipated. That's me saying, if I had a dog, I wouldn't let him use it for a few days. For health reason. Due to the odor. The odor does dissipate over several days (outside). So no worries. I don't have a dog so I cannot give feedback on leakage and stain resistance but for a project. It'll do great. Other than that and the odor it was worth the money and I would buy it again. ... show more

This does, unfortunately, have a very messy black backing that dusts off and creates a mess but once it was down it was fine. I've sprayed the heck out of it with water and it holds up great, plus I regularly vacuum it. It does fray around the edges but fixable - just burn the sides. It's not high quality but for this price, this is an excellent choice for an easy little option to perk up an area. ... show more

I originally bought this for indoor use, and was slightly disappointed. The turf part was great and it looked exactly how I wanted. The issue was the leftover material that hadn't been cut around the turf, and it also shed A LOT. The grass didn't shed, but the black layer underneath did. My floor was covered in black specs minutes after opening the package. No matter how much I vacuumed and cleaned it, the shedding didn't stop. I ended up moving it outside to use over some dirt as a dog run. It works great for a doggy bathroom area, but not so great inside the house. ... show more

Not impressed at all. It has a strong chemical smell and leaves black dust everywhere and I now have a rash from where it got on my leg :( I definitely wouldn’t use for animals doesn’t seem safe. Very light and crooked cut not at all like the pictures. They folded it so tightly that the wrinkles do not come out, it’s not rolled up nicely like the pictures showed. Our patio turns into a mud pit anytime it rains and I was tired of our dogs tracking it inside. I had purchased a similar product around the same price range as this from Home Depot and I must say, this product is significantly better than that one so I am happy. This grass doesn't look real but it's soft and I like the grass blades are longer to make it look somewhat more realistic. It was really easy to cut down to size and I am looking forward to seeing how long it will withstand our dogs and what it looks like after another heavy rain. Overall a great product for the price.
