I'm 5'3 155 lbs. I ordered a large after reading the reviews. Fits perfectly. I can wear a hoodie under it and it still has room, not tight. I can wear it without a hoodie and still fits great. Sleeves are just long enough that I can wear it normally or pull them over my hands. Length sits right at the bottom of my butt. Is has a zipper and buttons. Button on each side pocket, velcro on inside pocket. It's not that heavy or thick but I believe it will do the job. It's 45° here and I could feel myself getting hot outside without the hoodie. Feels soft against my skin, could probably handle light rain. (Haven't tested it.) Based off of this coat, if you're around 145 lbs this will probably be big on you. 165 lbs it might start getting tight on you. I'm very happy with the purchase. ... show more

I sized up but this coat is still a bit small. The zipper pull is on the left instead of the right which is also weird to me! I guess if you are left handed you might appreciate. Would return but I just use for when I go to work. I clean houses so don't need it to be fashionable just keep me warm while loading and unloading supplies. It does keep me warm but still not worth the price in my opinion! I so not look for this coat to last too long. Hopefully will get my moneys worth before it heads to consignment store! ... show more
