After trying several other trench coats this is by far the one! I always read reviews so I’ll try & be informative. First, the fit, (I’m 5’5 144lbs 39x31x39, hourglass shape, athletic build with broad shoulders). I ordered the M. Perfect fit with extra room for a chunky sweater. The item is lined and comes with a hood that snaps on & is not overly cumbersome. I have yet to wear it, however it feels light enough for a 70 degree rainy day, yet warm enough for “chill to the bone” rainy days too. In colder months layered properly that is, you’d be fine. Belt is perfect length, and after tied/buckled, the bottom fabric is still somewhat fitted & doesn’t flare out with a lot of extra fabric, like a bell (a problem I found with many other trenches). There is no slit in the back. It has nice structure all around without feeling constricted. The shoulders and under the armpits are roomy, even though I have broad shoulders, as mentioned. Color- I got the grey, elegant & quite beautiful. It’s not too shiny but still has a slight sheen to it but not tacky or cheap looking. It will definitely enhance any outfit I own. I’m actually waiting on another from Amazon and know I’ll be returning it bc this is the one! Considering ordering another, worth the money on this item ladies. Hope this helped.

I first want to say it looked exactly like the photo. I went up a size. It was still on the smaller side. It is nice with the removable hood. It also definitely has that rain jacket feel. Seems like a really really nice jacket. I just personally didn't like the way it fit on me.

I bought this raincoat because I walk to work, and live in Japan, where we have heavy rains almost all summer. I needed something light, something waterproof, and something cute and pink, and this coat checked all of my boxes! The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the coat was surprisingly well-made for the price. No loose threads, etc. The fit is so flattering, and I love that I can cinch the coat at the waist with the belt to make my curves POP. The material is incredibly light that even when I wear it in 80°F/27°C weather, I don’t feel like I’m suffocating in the heat. Of course, it is still a coat, so I am sweaty, but it’s minor. Most importantly, the heavy rains during my 1.5 mi/2 km walk to work are no match for this coat. I get to work perfectly dry! If you’re looking for a fashionable and functional raincoat for a decent price, 1000% this is the cost for you!

I ordered this jacket in medium as I am 5'1" and 130 lbs and medium was recommended when I ordered it. I usually wear medium in jackets and tops so it seemed like it would be the right size. However, it was too small all over, especially under the arms and across the back. The jacket is lined and pretty. I wish it would have fit better

The red coat is a beautiful color, perfect color or red. The jacket fits large so I'd go down 1 size, as I ordered an XL and it was huge and re-ordered a Large. The first package arrived beautifully packaged. Brand new coat fold in plastic with cardboard and tissue paper between folds. Hung it to release creases and within a short period the coat hung perfectly and ready to wear. Has a detachable hood. However, the re-order arrived in a generic plastic bag and when I open it the coat was literally rolled up in a ball, hood detached and stuck in the bag. Completely unbuttoned with belt detached. It was a wrinkled mess and clearly a return without any care of re-packaging it. It's been hanging for 2 days and still just as wrinkled as it was balled up in the bag. I was so disappointed because nobody wants to receive an item that they took care in selecting arrive in this condition and we don't want to know that somebody else had it, clearly wore it and returned it and it was immediately shipped out to an unsuspecting customer knowing that it had been worn and unclean. The 2nd order took a bit longer to receive than the 1st order (couple of weeks) and I'm returning it again and this time not because of sizing but because of the condition of the coat upon arrival. This is surely a Spring coat. I hate driving in a heavy coat so I chose this one that I can wear a sweater under or in warmer weather just wear it over my regular clothes. It is well made and great for the price. One thing I don't like is the belt but that's just me, if it has a buckle I'd like it to buckle without all the extra hanging down, other wise just leave the buckle off, one more thing, the sleeves are very long as you can see in the picture. I ordered a medium and a large, most things I wear medium but this coat I needed a large in order to layer so I canceled the medium. I am 5;4" and weigh 143 pounds and this large fits me well and with a not too heavy sweater it will work fine.
