I am so impressed with this coat. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but the quality blew me away. I don't come across many things that are such wonderful quality and the description is spot on, and this jacket is so worth it! It's about medium weight, lined with a soft thin fleece, feels waterproof (we'll see, but it truly looks and feels like it is), and I really appreciate pockets with zippers instead of snaps or buttons. I also love the velcro around the wrists, so kudos on that nice touch! If I were to mention any negativity at all, it's that the gathering waist isn't exactly at the waist; it's more like about four inches below my bustline, but for whatever reason, it works. It doesn't look weird but fits nicely just the same. I'm 5'8" and it falls about six inches below my hip area, so not super long but enough to cover your bum. My measurements are 37-28-43. I ordered a large (the lrg fits, but just barely and I like some room, so will get an xlrg ) as I'm pear-shaped and need to bow down to my hip measurements, so the top will be a bit large, but it's ok. The cut of this jacket makes it look ok regardless. That being said, overall, for the price, I wouldn't hesitate if you're on the fence. This jacket exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect for cold, rainy days in N.E. Tennessee. But, importantly, it’s very well made and would easily cost twice as much in a department store. I would suggest you order up a size. I wear a size small, ordered the medium and it fits just right.

BELL SHAPED - so unflattering. Cinch is directly under bust not at natural waist, it was also extremely flimsy and hard to use. I am 5'7" 155 lbs, I ordered a large, the shoulders fit, zipped fine, decent zipper, nice material. I really wish the cut was different - more like the photo and not the ridiculous bell I received .... then I might have kept it instead of sending it back. ... show more
