I had to use the extension cables supplied with the horn and just shrink-wrapped over the exposed copper cable. I wanted the horn facing down to avoid any water ingressing into the horn. I've been using the horn for a year now with no issues. It is straightforward to attach to the bike and far louder than the stock horn. I have a 2022 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT and this horn is plug and play meaning you just unplug your horn and plug it in to this horn and it's ready to save your life, it's very loud. I bought the low sound and it is just like a car horn. I'm very happy with this horn. I did a lot of horn research and bought this one and I'm glad I did. I will definitely be heard now. 👍👍 UPDATE::: 8•24•23 After trying this horn out on my bike, I found that it was hitting the front fender and marked up my paint pretty badly. I ended up luckily waxing off the marks and I took a hacksaw and cut the trumpet mostly off then file it to smoothness then bending the mounting bracket to an L shape then mounting it as high as I could go without it rubbing on the upper parts when turning the handlebars side to side. I measured the distance on the shocks if they ever were to go full length on a front braking situation then I measured the distance between the fender and the bottom of the horn and it looks like it should be good to go. ... show more

I put this in my track car when I installed an aftermarket quick-release racing wheel. I had no interest in tapping into the wiring harness for the wheel horn, so this was a perfect compromise. It even came with clear instructions. Beep beep!
