This is funny I came across this in my 'orders' file while looking for something else because just this morning I was thinking what a good phone it's been. I bought it April 2024, it was released March 2019. *7 yrs ago now. It's my outside phone I use while walking, mowing & trimming trees. It's survived more than a few dips in the pool after yardwork in 105° Oklahoma heat. I don't think it's certified as waterproof (but it is). One of my dogs even swiped it and stashed it in his favorite hiding hole outside by the fence. I ran it under water real quick and polished it with a towel and it's good as new. The battery even still lasts 2 days! This phone is a workhorse. It's like my dad's Ford LTD in 1980 that got over 500,000 miles. By far one of the best Amazon buys.     • If I had to replace my Note9, this is what I would get.
Got this phone to replace an iPhone 4 so size was considered for this device. This phone has got to be my favorite phone on the market right now. Although it might be missing some features of it's larger siblings, it is still a great package for the price of admission and what you are missing (or what may have changed) are things I find worth the trade. It does not have 4k resolution and it is missing a camera on the rear and front, but you still get a wide angle lens front and back. The photo and video quality are grand. Not the best, but the quality isnt something to complain about. You get a fingerprint sensor in one of the most intuitive places that works quite well and is fast. You do not get a heart rate sensor on this model unfortunately. The phone is also pretty lightweight so if lightness is a factor, you cant go wrong here. By the time I am writing this, Samsung released the dedicated Night Mode for the Camera app for this phone earlier this week, and though I have not yet tested it, I can say that it isnt going to make your phone a Huawei P30 Pro and take night time shots in absolute darkness, but it should improve those photos a bit better than Samsung devices with similar cameras without the software update. *UPDATE* So a second S10E was purchased and as one reviewer states, this phone does get hot out of the box. It did this as it was gathering information for itself and transferring my old info over to the new device. After updating everything including the latest software patch, the phone has not had that issue. Both purchases were Snapdragon phones and so far have behaved appropriately.     • Great phone and just the right size
5.4in with means it fits on all of my trousers and shorts pockets, and it's slim. Despite the size it's quick and has a good camera. I added a 1tb microSD card and can't see running out of space anytime soon. The battery last a crazy long time. I'd buy this phone again. Plus, it works in the UK and EU...so that make life even better. ... show more

Exciting phone to have during first year. Second year, about fith month, power runs down too fast. Working with photos and documents, the copy and delete functions started dragging, and really taking long to conclude a function. Will be looking for new phone soon. Received on time with no defects. Fully functional. It takes a while to charge but the battery lasts the day for a working individual who does not use the phone often. Setup was easy and th network was unlocked so I was able to use my local network. It's decent for the price paid. Initially she didn't think she really needed a new phone, but after going to Arizona and trying to get a plan with AT&T, found out her old phone was outdated. This phone has been great and takes great photos. A minus is the fingerprint reader for sign in. I went carefully through all the steps to set it up, but it still doesn't read my fingerprint so I have to manually enter my unlock code. Not a big deal to me as I'm used to using the code to unlock the phone. I like its size and also the audio quality which is much better than my previous Samsung phone. ... show more
