I set the tent up And then it rains 3 days I had applied nikwax The only place I had any water was after a pretty torrential Damn poor straight at the Front Of the tent . I had five drops of water Straight down To the floor. Not touching anything . I think. That's pretty good .well done fanttik ! I will buy another one

I needed a new family tent and I liked the promise of easy and fast setup. The description claims 60 second setup, I think with practice and you only count the time it takes to stand up the main tent itself that could actually be done. My son and I completed the setup in about 7 minutes on our first attempt. That included putting on the rain fly, welcome mats, and room divider. We did not stake it down or tie out the rain fly ropes that would take another few minutes at least. It is nice that the poles are attached to the tent as it is stored, this is a big assist for the quick setup. You just set the tent on the ground and unfold the 4 legs. Then extend 2 sections on each of the 4 legs until the lock into position. After a few attempts we discovered it is easiest to extend the top section of each leg first and then the bottom section. And do that in reverse order when taking it down. So if you keep your setup time expectations reasonable, this is a very easy tent to setup. It looks nice in a neutral color that blends in well in nature. The space is large as advertised and the large mesh doors along with the large mesh roof give nice view and ventilation. The rain fly has sealed seams for good water protection. The zippers all work easily which is important, particularly for the doors. Access to the tent is excellent with doors on a short end and the wide side. Including a door on each side of the room divider. The door mats are a nice touch but could be more securely attached to the tent. The pack bag it comes with is large enough to actually get the tent in again with just a little bit of struggle. It has two zippers which help, and I also appreciate a few included straps to hold the main tent in a bundle and also some straps on the outside of the bag that help secure the load and should reduce strain on the zipper seams over the long term. The reason I only have 4 instead of 5 stars is just a design on the quick setup poles. There are buttons you press to allow the poles to collapse, the button is very small and not easy to press. When we took the tent down one particular pole took a lot of effort to get that button to work and allow the pole to be put into storage position.

This is a very large and well-constructed tent. It’s not all that heavy either, though I doubt that you’ll want to take this backpacking with you! It’s an eight-person tent, though that would be crowding things (not much of a problem if you have somewhere else to store your gear). But with just my wife and myself, it’s pure luxury! We can even divide the room and keep our stuff on one side and us on the other. The directions say that you shouldn’t put it up by yourself, so I had two of my grandchildren (under six) help me. We put it up just fine (I suspect that it would have been easier just by myself!). The directions (attached to the tent bag) helped, but I wasn’t quite sure how to extend which tent supports at what time, but when I did it wrong it was easy to fix. I’m not so sure about the 60 second set up though! I suspect that it could be done, but with a lot of needed finish work still needed! I can stand up inside with no trouble (I’m 5’8”). There are lots of tent pegs and hooks to make everything tight and secure. I took a bunch of pictures, without using any of those hooks (or the rainfly) to tighten things up and make them look better. So, you’re seeing this tent at its worst! That’s a pretty good recommendation! I am thoroughly pleased with the features and the quality of the construction of this tent. The fabric is strong and smooth. Everything about this is designed to keep water out. There are two separate (large) entrances to the tent, with strong (well-made) zippers that pull open and closed cleanly and that are sealed with a waterproof tape where they are sewn to the fabric of the tent. That’s not something that you would think would be needed, but that’s where a lot of leaking occurs (though not in this tent). The doors have windows with separate covers that allow you to open the windows while keeping the privacy of having the doors closed. There are also overlaps of the zippers on the outside of the tent that will shed the rain and keep it away from the zippers. There are also two large windows with screens on the remaining sides of the tent that can be zippered shut. Something else that I haven’t seen on any other tent are two ground vents that allow cooler air to enter the tent as the warmer air exits the top. That’s a nice feature as while the rainfly (included) keeps out the rain it also tends to keep in the heat. With those vents (which have covers that are staked out a bit from the tent proper) you will get much better circulation. I’ve taken a number of pictures showing the inside and outside of the tent. Also, I would recommend you watch the videos on the sales site. I learned some things from them! I’m glad that I got this!

I am always afraid of getting a new tent as some are very difficult to set up, but for its size, this one is very easy to set up! We were done in under 10 minutes, and we could probably knock that time down a good bit more if we weren't being so cautious about doing everything right. This is one of the cases of 'you get what you pay for'. Yes, this tent is pricey, but it is 100% worth every penny. As I was jokingly told after setting it up, this is the Taj Mahal of tents. It is very spacious on the inside. It's got all the normal tent features you would expect such as a rain covering and pockets on the inside. The second door is a lot more useful than I had anticipated as it lets us sneak by each other more easily in the mornings and nights.
