  • Good bra if you don’t need projection at the wire
I’ve been a Panache devotee for years, but I have flares of costochondritis/rib cage pain that make it difficult for me to wear such a firm bra band. SADNESS. Lately I’ve branched out to Freya and Fantasie to find something that is still supportive but not as painful. Overall, I like the Fantasie Fusion. The fabric is nice, if stretchy, and the metal accent (gold on the black cherry colorway) is subtle. Straps aren’t too wide, and wires don’t come up too high into my underarms (another increasingly painful occurrence with my beloved Panache bras). The band feels supportive but not too painful, stretchy but not too stretchy. The gore is not wide, but not super thin either. It’s not as open at the top as a balconnette, but the cups aren’t super-tall like a lot of full-cup bras are (I have low-set/short roots, so this can be A Problem). The outer layer of the cup covers where there’s an inner seam that makes it a four-part cup—nifty! There’s a couple things about this bra that make it a subtle shape-mismatch for me.** First, it’s not very projected at the wire (bottom/center). I get that weird wrinkling/dead space gap thing at the bottom as my tissue seeks higher ground, but not enough to be uncomfortable—wires aren’t being pushed to my stomach. The outer sides of the wire fit well, though, where they’re supposed to be. Second, the top part of the gore does this weird thing where one side of it wants to tack, but the other wire ends up flipped up/pressing on tissue. I am center-full and close-set, so this happens sometimes. Probably not enough projection at the center gore wires for what I have going on. Finally, the outer layer of fabric doesn’t attach to the inner center cup seam (what makes it a four-part instead of a three-part cup). Basically, it’s a four-part cup on the inside, but a three-part on the outside. The outer layer wrinkles/gathers funny where the inner center cup seam meets the top-across panel. I can’t tell if this is a size issue, a fit issue, or if it would be helped if the outer layer was attached to the inner layer. It could be that this is where the projection in this bra is, rather than at the wire. It’s not obvious under the shirts I wear, but the knowing it happens makes my eye twitch a little bit. The concept does conceal the inner seam, so if seams annoy you, this might be helpful. I think this bra is definitely worth a shot, especially if it’s a shape match for you. It’s comfortable enough and classy. I’m keeping it, since it usually takes more wear than a mere try-on allows for me to figure out if something is not right. **Edited to clarify: In addition to needing immediate projection at the wire and being center-full, I’m also splayed, meaning close at the top of the gore but set wider toward the bottom of the gore, which contributes to the weird gapping at the bottom and the not-tacking at the top. The bra generally stays in place all day, which is great! (Well, it stays in place, but that place is the wrong place.) ... show more

  • Nice bra but returned because of color and padding level
Size: 36FF Color: Cinnamon
I'm usually a 36H in US sizing, 46" bust, and 36" band. I got this in the cinnamon color in a 36FF. It fit decently well, but the color was soooo dark that I couldn't wear it as a nude bra. There is not padding, so my nipples also showed through, which I did not like.

  • Amazing for larger sizes!
Size: 30GG Color: Red
I have been searching for a good bra for YEARS. Fantasie is one of the only brands that carry’s small band big chest sizes. The quality is amazing and they do a great job of fitting true to size. It took me a few days to break mine in and now their my daily wears! I definitely recommend giving this style and brand a try. ... show more

  • The best bra ever made
Size: 30FF Color: Red
First off, I am a size 30FF and it's impossible to find a bra that fits in person. I ordered this bra prepared to be disappointed like I usually am when ordering bras online. But no, this bra fits perfectly. It gives the girls a great shape, no back fat bulge, and it's comfortable. I am able to work out in it as well. It's full coverage, but doesn't look like a granny bra. The construction is high quality and I can wear it ALL day and the underwire doesn't dig in and it just feels great overall. This is the perfect bra. ... show more

They understand the assignment! My cup size is 32H (DDDD) and I purchased this bra in multiple colors. I like to try a variety of brands always in search for the perfect bra. If your in my boat, you know that curvy bras are pricey. This one, is worth the price for me. PROs for me: Support and still cute looking Great for dressing up or T-shirts The cup shape is perfect/ not pointy No side boob!!! Yes- that’s right NONE. If you are curvy, try out this bra ... show more

  • Not great in all sizes, but good for some.
Size: 30FF Color: Black
I did not know what size to order so the first try was too small of a cup size for me but the right band size. Happily it fit my sister perfectly and she is impressed as she also wears a hard-to-find size. And so, I ordered again, this time also getting the right cup size. Unfortunately, I ran into my typical problem with the underwire. If the same underwire that was used on the 30E was used for the 30FF, it would have fit wonderfully. But instead, they decide that larger busts must mean one is wider across too. Well, this is nonsense in my opinion--it doesn't matter how large my breasts are, I'm still only a certain number of in/cm across. As a result, the underwires have to be bent around the sides of my ribcage in order to wear the bra semi-comfortably. And I have since found a bra that actually fits and so this bra is totally not worth it for me (I'm returning it). I wouldn't recommend buying this bra in a size 30 for anyone larger than an E cup (my sister normally doesn't like unwire, but because the underwires in this bra are right for her size, 30E, it is comfortable for her). Other info: For anyone trying to find the right size, my underbust is about 26in and the 30 band size seemed right for me. The gore is tall. and on me (I don't need much of a gore to begin with), and it ended up turning to the side since there's no room for it to lay flat. The bra does seem well made--minus the problem of it being made, in some of the larger bust sizes, for someone with a ribcage as deep as a pancake is thick. ... show more
