I have owned many home Blu-ray/DVD players, but this Fangor F-BR114 is the first portable player I have purchased. I am quite impressed with the quality. The picture, sound, remote control, and player features are all comparable to the home units I have enjoyed in the past. The screen is a perfect size with clear, bright colors and sharp video playback. The built-in speakers are loud enough to hear the dialogue and music on a movie, and the sound is even better with headphones. The remote feels very light, but it has all the functions anyone could need. However, the most important controls are conveniently located on either side of the disc tray. The player charges quickly, and the battery lasts a long time. The unit can run while it is charging. I would have liked to see a more obvious way to tell how much battery is left though. I really appreciate the ability to play Blu-rays and DVDs from other regions. The player seems sturdy and well-built, and the handle is a useful addition. All things considered, I like this Blu-ray/DVD player very much; I am happy I decided to take a chance on an unknown name brand.

Was a little hesitant to get this blu ray player because of the cost, however it does have some features that are hard to find in a portable blu ray player this size. I like the fact that it will play foreign blu ray discs which will give you more purchasing options on certain film and program titles that are on DVD and blu ray. Love the built-in handle to use to carry it around since I don't have a bag or case to carry it in. The speakers are great for a unit this size and the picture is great. I don't expect mind-blowing HI-FI audio for a portable player this size. Some reviews here are complaining that it isn't real 1080p on the portable screen and that it is 720p. All I can say is that the picture quality looks great as far as I'm concerned for a screen of it's size. I am still figuring out some of the screen menus but so far it has met my expectations for a portable player that plays my blu rays and DVDs. The only drawbacks I can think of which are minor to me are that I don't see an off button on the remote. The unit does not have bluetooth or wifi and there is no indicator to see how much battery life is in the unit. It may take some looking to find a case for this blu ray player as there are not many made this size and most bags and cases designed for portable players are for players with screens 10 to 11 inches in diameter. A few reviews including myself has said this unit seems to be on the pricey side; however I bought it anyway since I don't use streaming services much and prefer physical copy media and wanted a good player.

I saw a lot of people bought this for their kids-- probably appropriate. But if you're an adult who's serious about film--- don't. It's a cheap piece of crap. The colors are over-saturated, so it not only looks terrible, but it's disconcerting to watch. No bluetooth for headphones. Confusing to charge (and only charges when it's off). Frankly, I'm embarrassed that I impulsively bought it.

The media could not be loaded. Picture quality 7 out of 10 Sounds 9 out of 10 Mobility 10 of 10 - handle / speakers work great when on the go . Quality 7 out of 10 - little cautious when moving screen seems if press too hard pixels get inky for a second But overall great little device most mobile players movies stop when shaking. I intentionally tried that moment came out of box and didn't affect movie .

More buzz (humming sound) than there ought to be. Yes, some discs are noisier than others, but so are some players. More than that, some menus are hard to access, including the subtitle on/off menu which requires the remote. Overall it's still a good player with more than the usual buttons on the player itself (good for me, as I prefer controls on the player rather than remote). Audio is well above average even without extra speakers. Video is average or slightly above.

When I first picked this up in my hands, I was surprised at how light it was. I almost thought they forgot to put the battery in. But lo and behold, it turned on just fine! I tested it out with my Big Hero 6 blu-ray and it was awesome. Took a tiny bit of time to boot up the movie after putting in the disc, but picture quality was fine for a portable player, and sound quality was ok using the built-in speakers. The screen is large enough for 2 people to share it comfortably. The "OK" button can open up the blu-ray pop-up menu. Also comes with nice accessories such as the remote + all of the travel adapters. It has a lot of ports such as HDMI out, headphone jack, etc. I'm impressed with how simple and easy to use it is. Also impressed with how portable it is because it's so light and it has a built-in handle so you can carry it like a suitcase. It's also awesome that the DVD playback is region free + the blu-ray region is switchable. Overall an awesome portable player. Only minor gripe with it is that the layout for the built-in buttons is a little confusing. There are some buttons that are diagonal from each other that are connected for some reason. Looks kind of cool but the buttons have nothing to do with each other so not sure why they were connected, threw me off for a second. Not a real problem though.
