These pillow covers more than met my expectations. They are made of cotton, which makes them washable. The design is classic looking - stripes on white mesh/lace (picture 1). The size is 18 x 18 inches. The zipper is well designed. The only part that shows is the pull head (picture 2). The entire case is well sewn and meticulously made. It nicely dresses up my couch. Once issue I had, though, was the crisp plastic tube in which it came. The lid on either side would not open properly. I did not want to rip open the circular portion in the center of the lid, but since it was already partially ripped, I tried to pull it further, but to no avail. I ended up having to, very carefully, cut the plastic tube open to remove the cases. Unfortunately, because of the sharp nature of the plastic, a jagged edge caught part of the lace. A small thread pulled, leaving a small snag in the pillow case. I am not going to take off any stars for this tube, as I am reviewing the cases, and not the tube in which it arrived. I want to mention this so no one else needs to have a snagged case. ... show more

We have been working on a reno, so I was excited to see this combination of off-white and forest green in a throw pillow. Just the right pallet. Additionally, it looks like a cozy sweater in its styling. The fabric is listed as a cotton and polyester blend, which would lend me to believe it would be soft. Not the case at all. The fabric is very course, stiff and scratchy. The ends and back are very similar to a burlap-even have a burlap smell to them. I suppose if you are going solely for "the look" these are fine. For my taste, I want a pillow to be comfortable and something I want to use, not just look at. ... show more

Whenever I’m shopping for textiles to use in my house, I look not only for color and fabric quality, but also texture. Texture can add a nice element of depth to otherwise flat fabric. I purchased these pillow covers to place on my couch, and they look great. You can tell that they’re very well constructed, without loose threads and a zipper that’s quality and closes easily but firmly. If I need to wash these, I will likely turn them inside out, and then allow them to hang dry to prevent any kind of damage to the threading. The colors are true to what is described and are similar to and oatmeal or cream, and a mustard yellow. These are great quality for the price that you pay. I’d like to buy discount pillows at stores from the clearance rack, and buy pillowcase covers like these to hide the original and usually ugly fabric. It’s a cheap and easy way to get quality pillows for your home. ... show more

Optional colors, I chose rust color and it fits perfectly with our decor. The woven texture is attractive. It has a hidden zipper that I had to slide back and forth a couple of times to loosen it but after that it worked fine. The pillow inserts fit. They're not super sturdy, they're medium weight, but the quality of the fabric is in line with the price which is reasonable, $6.50 for each pillow case, and cotton is generally durable as long as the weave is not too loose. ... show more

I'm delighted with how these look on our couch. I used these covers on pillows I saved from a comforter set I was not using, giving our couch a fresh look. The zipper is almost the full length of the pillow cover, making it easy to slip a pillow into without a struggle. The mustard in these pillows looks very close to brown, rather than the nice yellow in the product pictures. I would have much preferred the latter. Other than that, great quality and craftsmanship. The fabric is not as thick as I imagined, but not super thin either.
