I bought this gadget in April 2020 when COVID hit and I could no longer go to the nail salon. It not only is compact, but it is very strong and has great rotation. I was able to file down my acrylics so I could soak them off! It ran great until about two weeks ago when I was using it to, once again, file down my acrylics when it suddenly just turned off. I changed the batteries to see if that would help but I could not get it to turn back on. I reached out to Amanda from Customer Service who offered me a replacement 18 MONTHS LATER, free of charge. Not only does this product surpass expectations for the price point and being battery operated, but the customer service is superb. As the saying goes, "good things come in small packages," and it certainly applies here. This electric mani/pedi set is lightweight, comfortable to hold in any position, and is MIGHTY. I bought it to use on thick toe nails that have become too difficult to cut and WOW! The sandpaper grinder does a magnificent job quickly and easily. I end up with a smooth, trimmed nail. I used to bend in all sorts of crazy positions to cut my big toe nail just to get the right position. Not with this, this thing is amazing. I can't wait to give myself a full manicure now. I like the product over all it is great and works well. However, I purchased some new bits to use with this drill, because after two uses of the bits it comes with they are all full and don’t work now, and they didn’t fit. I have now bought multiple new sets of bits in the standard 3/32 size and they don’t fit. I have now purchased another drill from another brand simply because of this. ... show more

Replacement heads aren’t economical at $13 for pack of five. Tried to save money by getting MelodySusie brand replacements at $5 for pack of 100, but they don’t fit. So that sucks.

It arrived sometime mid Jan. It's not over-used. I've used maybe 15 times. It was awesome! Did what I expected it to. Although, upon purchasing it, I didn't realize it only went in one direction but- that's minor I suppose. Well. Last night while fixing my thumb nail, within 3min of it being on to fix my broken nail it started making weird spark noises... like 3 lighter flicks... so I shut it off of course annnnd it made a bigger spark noise and legitimately 'blew up' in my hand nd started smoking!! My phone isn't uploading the picture rate now due to crap service but I will keep trying and upload the picture of the electric file with black smoke marks along the sides of it now. My fiance was in the room he grabbed it and threw it outside because we honestly thought it was going to explode into pieces. Now after the spark noises an with black marks, new batteries- it will nott turn on. But. I'm kinda okay with that. I also have been trying to contact Amazon/ the company but talking to a actual human is impossible I guess. So if one of the company employees/ boss see this post-PLZ comment back to me or contact me-i have sent 5emails. 3 to the company. 2 to Amazon. Called Amazon customer service 3 times as well. Still. Have not spoke to anything but an automated machine. Not impressed with either- customer service. 4 stars for the file before it tweaked out on me. ½ star if possible to customer service. Also- is never been dropped. Never near or in water/ mist/ steam. It sits on my dresser when not in use. It's take care of. ... show more

I’ve been using this Fancii, Portable Electric Nail File since June of 2019, 14 months now and it is still going strong! There was a bit of a learning curve at first, having never done my own nails before. Once I figured out what tool worked best for what I was able to whip through keeping all my nails neat and trimmed. The only thing I would change about this is the directions, they could be better for those of us new to doing our own nails. I love this being cordless. It makes it so easy to use. I highly recommend this portable nail file. February 2023. Re-review: 4 years later and still working like a champ. I dropped this file last night after finishing my nails. I was only a little surprised when it wouldn’t turn on. I opened it and found a mess of dry discharged battery acid. How I just used it to manicure my nails, I don’t know. After cleaning it I decided to try new batteries before buying a new one - low and behold this little work horse fired right up! So no need to shell out another $20.00! Just a reminder to self to remove the batteries every time I finish! If you do your own nails or even others and don’t like messing with cords give this Fancii Mynt a try. Not only has the tool held up, the bits have too. You have nothing to lose, if you don’t like it, it is returnable for 30 days! ... show more
