    • It's easy to set up
Twitch streamer review here. I'm giving this four stars because of the green screen dimensions. Granted, I should have measured behind me before doing it but I feel as if the green screen dimensions should be switched. If you are using a 16:9 or 16:10 resolution web cam, a 6 foot wide green screen will literally need to be up against the back of your computer chair to cover your entire background. Most streamers move around a decent amount so that a green screen directly behind them will get moved and knocked around. To fix this, I taped the 9 foot side to the horizontal bar. This gives me about 2-3 feet between the back of my computer chair and the green screen. This allows me to move about freely without having to worry about knocking the green screen around. The set up itself can go extremely high up, higher than needed for a twitch streamer - the green sheet should really be 9 feet by 9 feet instead of 6 feet by 9 feet. Also this is a cumbersome set up. It's easy to set up, but putting it away and taking it out every time you stream is going to be annoying. I'm thinking of switching my set up so my back faces a wall. this was NOT expensive and i was not expecting something that worked so well. It is plenty big enough to do the job the cross bar is very wide (12'? ) the stands go up to the ceiling the fabric is not full width of the cross bar but it is wide enough (6') and the crossbar can be set up to be that width.. and the fabric has a loop to run the cross bar through so it won't fall. the stands are not 'heavy duty' but they are certainly strong and sturdy enough for this job. went together in a couple minutes and boom - smile shipped fast and free.. this is a no brainer ... show more

    • so make the best effort in setup
Although there were no formal instructions for setup included, it did not take long to figure out how to set this up in a reasonable amount of time and shoot test footage. The bars and legs are manufactured adequately. The key thing to understand is the fabric is delivered folded. The consumer MUST iron the folds out. There is no getting around this if you want proper key lighting. After hanging, light the green screen as evenly as possible. The thickness of the fabric is irrelevant when it is well lit. The more wrinkles and shadows means the more "gain" you will have to use in key lighting the screen out... so make the best effort in setup. Depending on the scope of a project (or what this is getting used for), all four top bars do not need to be used. Using two at a minimum might be fine... it is for me. However, the excess fabric that is not able to be stretched out fully (since the third or fourth top bars may not be used) should be gathered to one side and out of camera view when possible. If not possible, the sides of the shot can always be masked out as long as the main subject moving around does not cross in front of the area to be masked. ... show more

    • Mediocre for use as Video Conferencing backdrop
I liked the ability to adjust the height and width of the frame. But what I don't like is how EXTREMELY hard it is to connect & disconnect the three horizontal poles. I mean literally straining to twist them into each other while black paint is grinding off, then when pull apart it is really hard to push in the small silver pin to realease the connection. I'm decently strong too. The second thing I don't like is the sheerness of the fabric. You really HAVE to have the area behind the backdrop at least 50% darker than in front. Anything less and the light will bleed through, which shows up as blotchy blurs when using a digital background on a Zoom call. Lastly, the width of the backdrop isn't really wide enough for video conferencing use. My face is two feet from the web cam and the backdrop must be up against my chair for it to cover the entire viewable width. This is with the webcam being set to a 4:3 ratio. Cannot use it at all on HD ratios. ... show more

    • Great for Home Business Video Calls
While I'm sure this kit would be great for a photographer, I got it for an entirely different reason. I work from home, but do not have a room or location I can keep uncluttered for business video calls. I took a lot of ribbing overr my 'man cave'/lab/home office. Finally a co-worker mentioned this kind of thing to me and I bought it. I set up the frame and green screen to cover the personal side of my lab. Then I set my video background to a photo of a business environment. It works perfectly! I had to buy a set of clips and turn the green screen fabric on its side for the extra width, but no problems. I unclip the fabric and fold it up and out of the way to use my personal area. The frame is no trouble at all and not in the way. ... show more

I got this for my teenage daughter, who is just getting interested in reducing videos. For the price, it is an excellent bargain. not what I would get if I was setting up a professional studio, but then again, I didn't expect it to be. I did have to iron the fabric to get rid of the creases. I hadn't thought of that, but I probably should have. All in all, I am happy with the product for the purpose it serves. it won't stand up to a lot of abuse, so I'm hoping you're not planning to abuse it, LOL. No Pull-Ups! ... show more
