There was a little problem with my order which you can review below, but the company reached out and sent me a new coffee maker. This coffee maker is exactly what I wanted and hoped for. It is super easy to use and has options for a single cup with a K cup or with ground coffee in an adapter that slip sin where the K cup would sit. Just load with coffee of choice and push the cup button for K cup or the other button if using loose coffee. Fill cup with water and pour in the back. You know you have the right amount, because you use the cup to measure how much you are going to have. I leave a little head room to add half and half. I drink coffee maybe once per month, so this is just what I wanted. Easy. Makes good coffee and fast. The small footprint is why I selected this coffee maker, and that is wonderful. My old coffee maker took up a lot of room on the counter. This one is short enough to slide under the upper counter and is narrow. Really love that. I am going five stars, because this was just what I was looking for. If you have a larger family or drink more coffee, then maybe you need a bigger machine, but my world is a one cup thing now and thankfully this coffee maker works for that. Apparently someone packed a used model by accident the first go round, but the company reached out to me and the clean machine was perfect. Mistakes happen. I am quite happy with the coffee maker and the company. _________________________________________ I ordered this coffee maker before the holidays, since some members of my family like to drink coffee (and I thought I might have a cup now and again). It arrived fine (about 15 minutes ago), and it was super easy to set up and turn on. Out of the box, I ran the coffee maker with clean water and the little insert for coffee grounds (versus you can use the pods). This should be a clean run (just water), but WTH? The water comes out dirty and floating with something - maybe coffee pieces or looks more like tea. I took photos after pouring the mess from the coffee cup into the clear measuring cup. Who packs up a new box with a used coffee maker and mails it to you? That is nasty. Even if they were selling used items, you would think they would clean the coffee maker and the insert before selling it. ... show more

    • Once made, it makes a good cup of coffee **Revised review
Well, when I first received this, I had a very hard time getting it to make a cup of coffee. It then would function, hit and miss. I thought it may be like a Keurig that has steps to brewing the coffee. That was not the issue. I then thought I figured it out, not closing the lid solid over the coffee compartment. Nope, still random issues. So I bought the capsules(prefilled coffee pods) This has been a nightmare- First, both lights flash, then go off, then the top button for the capsule blinks. Press it and it starts, releases some water then stops. It took 5 times of restarting it to get a cup of coffee. Next, randomly, when I make a cup of coffee and it is clearly done, I remove the cup. It begins leaking again, little spats that fill the overflow and no I am not using to much water. On the plus side, the size of the maker is perfect and it does make good coffee when it functions properly. I am past the return window so will use it until I find something else. ****REVISED REVIEW- This company is amazing! They contacted me and offered to replace the coffee maker at no charge. I accepted their offer, the coffee maker arrived very fast, seems like it was a day (overnighted?) I cleaned the unit and made a cup of coffee- Very impressive, it works like a charm, delivering a hot cup of coffee, no delays or dripping. I then made a cup with the k cup- again, worked like a charm. I am amazed with the customer service of this company.     • Great Coffee But Hate Standing over Machine to Hold Button- Cust svc replaced pot with new one
I gave a 3 originally as the button was not working correctly. Once I posted on Amazon, they replaced my pot with a new one. The lovely delivery service dropped it at a building a block away but the box came to me eventually. The very first cup of coffee brewed perfectly but then the machine decided to act up. I had to put my left hand on the top and keep my right hand on the button for pods. Thankfully, ground coffee works better, and I only need to press the lower button....so far it is ok without holding the top. I love everything about this machine except the you have to stay with the machine to ensure it works. This is not an easy thing to do with a knee injury. I had an injury right after it arrived and never got to use it within the return period which is why i did not return it. It takes up so little space, brews a hot and tasty cup of coffee. But I worry that it will die out as others have seem to have done before it. I tried to contact customer service but never got a response. I hope that it does not die on me as others have described. If the manufacturer can get the switch part fixed, this would be perfect. Really like the machine and hate grading it under a 5. ... show more

    • Great Coffee Maker in a small package!
I've had this coffee maker for three months and can confidently state that it is a great little coffee maker! We have a drip maker for company and volume coffee, but my husband and I have different tastes and different caffeine needs during the day. Being able to slip a pod into the maker and get piping hot coffee in short order is nice. The small size takes little space on the counter and so looks attractive. It's easy to use. We just put water in the cup we're going to use (because different cups hold different amounts), pour it into the coffee maker, and add our favorite flavor pod. Voila! A couple minutes later we have a nice fresh cup of coffee. I find my husband uses the coffee maker more and more. We've had no issues with the coffee maker and I recommend it. It's a good product and customer service was sweet to follow up with a thank you for ordering. ... show more
