This is a really nice set of dinnerware. The set is quite heavy and they seem durable. I haven't noticed any scratches from cutting food on them. I just wish the bowls were a little bigger. They're fairly small and I like a good sized bowl for cereal or soup.

The media could not be loaded. For me to be dishwasher and microwave safe is very important! And besides some comments I read, mine works perfectly on microwave and dishwasher! I was a bit worried to come anything broken, but they arrived in perfect conditions! The design is very nice, just the detail at the border is not a perfect painting, but for it doesn’t matter. They are a bit heavy, and thick, but even though I am using a lot, and until now, I do not have anything to complain! I totally recommend!

Though we already have a set of everyday dishes, we saw this attractive set of stoneware and thought they would look great in our home. The famiware dishes did not disappoint. There are 12 pieces in this set, 4 large plates, 4 smaller plates and 4 bowls. The large dishes work well for entrees or as a decorative plate underneath the smaller plates or bowls. The bowls are very deep (a real plus) and can hold soup, cereal, salad or cut up fruit. Place bread, desserts or a variety of salads in the bowls. We really like the appearance of this dinnerware set. The handcrafted pieces give off a beautiful sheen. There is a subtle spiral design on each piece. The color (dark olive) gives off an earthy feel and they look great with our rustic decor. That said, they really would fit in with most any style home design. Most fitting would be modern, farmhouse, minimal and bohemian. The edges of each piece are darker in color which really gives the stoneware more depth. There are also slight imperfections on a few of the dishes/bowls, but this is not a negative. These subtle blemishes give the stoneware more character. The glaze gives off a nice sheen and enhances the look of this set. Each piece is rather weighty, and they feel substantial and sturdy. Stoneware dishes are great for everyday use. They are strong, durable and easy to care for. You can use this set as your everyday dishes or dress up the table with elegant table lines and beautiful centerpieces, for a fancy dinner party. Choose from four color options: antique white, castle wall, dark olive and pearl blue. The dishes are microwavable safe and scratch resistant.

These famiware Plates and Bowls Sets for 4, 12 Pieces Stoneware Dinnerware are OK, but for this price, I expected better. There are too many imperfections for me to be pleased with these plates and bowls. One of the bowls is a noticeably darker color than the other three. One bowl has a black spot inside the bowl that is rough to the touch. One of the small plates has two rough black spots in it. Another has a divot in the finish. It's not rough, but it's a noticeable flaw that would keep me from using it with company. Overall, I don't think this set is worth it.
